About: Nzinga came to the UW pride pregnant and alone. Always having been an antisocial lion, it was strange to her to live in a pride, but the anxious new mother needed a support group. After her solitary, adventurous life, she has now settled into the pride life. Her children have both left her now, and it crushed her hopes of a happy family life. She has now resorted to her old solitary lifestyle. Though still living in the pride, she has become a recluse. Not a day goes by that she does not worry about her children, wonder about them, and blame herself for everything.

About: Banjoko left his mother as a juvenile, determined to find his father. Since then, he has wandered alone, longing to experience adventure and the joy of the open road. His main goal is now to simply experience life, and he has shifted focus away from finding Vian, especially since meeting a seer who warned him not to seek his father. As an adolescent, he is incredibly arrogant and prideful, and lives for rescuing maidens from trouble. His chivalry is often over dramatic, but he will slowly become more reasonable as he ages. He was traveling with Nurisha, but when she disapeared one night he went back to the Kusini lands to look for her, where he met Amani. Now he and his new friend are searching the lands looking for her.
