Personality: Damu, in a nutshell, is grumpy . Ever since he was a cub, he's been snappish and surly to everyone around him except his twin, Haba, his mother, and his older brother Taabu. He seemed to be antisocial at an early age, and this has only flourished as he's grown. He tolerates his other siblings, and blatantly despises his brother Azima. He only seems truly happy and "normal" when with his twin, and then only if they are completely alone. He has little tolerance for others, and as of late, has been quite eager to argue with everyone around him.

History: Damu has lead a somewhat normal life in the Kusini lands. As a cub, he seemed just as normal as everyone else, but as he grew, strange things kept popping up in his personality. Most wrote it off as his father's cranky nature showing through, but it truly was much more than that.

During his juvenile stage, his mother, older brother, and nephew left unannounced, without any goodbyes. This greatly wounded Damu, and he grew to resent his mother. He still does, in some ways, because he doesn't see love in her eyes anymore, only concern and sympathy for what's beyond his control.

As of late, Damu's illness has become worse. He now hears clear voices in his head, experiences drastic nightmares, and has blackout periods that leave him completely oblivious to whatever has just happened.

These voices finally made Damu snap, and a second personality came out of him, calling himself "Stirika". During his first episode, Damu unknowingly attacked a lioness by the name of Baala and nearly killed her. His nephew, Njozi, sworn to protect the pride from the ill lions, luckily managed to pull "Stirika" off of Baala. Damu, coming free from "Stirika", saw what he had done and fled the pride. Unbeknownst to him, this encounter yielded two daughters, both of which Damu will never know of. He now wanders, alone and lost.

Special Features: Damu has inherited the Kusini Royalty's "curse", as it were. It is a strange mental illness that develops as the lion ages, manifesting itself in various "crazed" ways, such as violence, voices, and blackout periods. During these black out periods, another being comes to surface called "Stirika". It is usually this personality that causes the most harm.

Personality: Lela is a very calm and peaceful dog, much like the ocean she's named for. She generally always has a smile on her face, and gets along with practically anyone. She tries to make friends with everyone, and has an overwhelming curiosity about everything, including other species. She has an affinity for water, loving swimming more than anything, next to exploring. She's a great traveler, and while her randomly disappearing on a small exploration may seem like irresponsibility, Lela never shirks any of her duties. However, she's always had a desire to visit the ocean and so see what she was named after. This is her lifelong quest, one that's always burning at the back of her mind.

History: Lela was born into the Mitima'Tangatanga pack with her six siblings. As a pup her wandering urges were already strong, yet she hung around close to her pack's territory. On one such adventure, Lela befriended a cheetah by the name of Kika. Kika planned to visit the ocean and return to tell Lela all about it, yet Lela hasn't seen hide nor hair of him since that one afternoon.

As the young wild dog grew into adulthood, she began to travel further and further from the safety of the Mitima lands. She encountered lions and all sorts of perils, yet usually came out unscathed. However, one afternoon, she ran into a young gold and white wild dog who offered her a life beyond her humble pack. Curious, and eager to explore new lands, Lela was glad to accept. She has not yet told her family of her soon-to-come departure, and is still unsure herself of whether she truly wishes to leave or not.

Personality: Ilanga is a very distant and aloof lioness. She is normally very quiet, but when she does finally choose to speak, her speech is very proper and eloquent, and often contains a bit of sarcasm if she's on the cranky side. However, she is very pleasant to those of her same gender, and actually enjoys being in the company of other females. Males, however, she finds to be poor sources of intelligence or entertainment, and generally tries to avoid them. She has little tolerance for those with annoying personality, and seems to have no clue what to do when around cubs.

History: Ilanga's past is a mystery to everyone, including herself. She can sometimes remember vague flashes of it if a strangely familiar smell greets her, or she sees something that reminds her of something else. Other than that, it's a big black void until she reached young adulthood. She assumes that whatever family she had is long since gone and refuses to dwell on the sadness of being entirely alone in the world. Her whole existence has been wandering from location to location by herself, living off the land and never settling down.

Recently, however, Ilanga ran into a very annoying young male, who she thoroughly detests. Yet soon after, she met a very nice lioness that was heading towards the Pridelands, and decided to make her way there herself, as she feels its time to finally settle down once more. She also believes that that particular annoying male is indeed a rogue, and a pride will shelter from ever having to deal with him again.

Personality: Maggie is a very mischievous little creature, always somehow finding herself in trouble. She's horribly energetic, which can be annoying at times, especially when others are trying to sleep. She is kind, however, and always tries to keep everyone in a pleasant mood - no one likes a party pooper, right? While she can get cranky and sore at times, there really isn't any temper in Maggie at all. It takes a good deal to make her angry, or even irritated. Maggie does, however, display a bit of a problem with concentrating. She can only really think about something when she's completely obsessed with an idea. Normally, she's just a regular little ball of sunshine.

History: Maggie, at such a young age, doesn't really have much of a history to tell. She was born into the Mpinzani pack with her siblings, and so far has only begun exploring a tiny portion of their packlands. Maggie's future is an open book at this point.

Kiji also believes in being in tune with the world around him, and often leaves his family to settle himself on some far hill and 'meditate'. Personality: Ka is said to look exactly like his uncle Denahi, but with the exact opposite personality. Where his uncle is grouchy, Ka is bubbling with sunshine. Like his namesake, he is full of energy, and very sweet. He's affectionate to all around him, even if he's never met them before. Also, Ka has a bit of a problem concentrating, and is practically oblivious to everything around him. Some may call him slow on the uptake...others just call him 'special'. XD

History: Ka has no true history yet, as he is still just a cub. He was, however, born outside of the Kusini lands. Recently, he and his siblings were finally introduced to their father, and are all on their way to join their father's pride.

Personality: Kyro is, without a doubt, a flirt. No matter what species, or what age, he knows how to flatter any female he comes across (and if she's persistent on disliking him, it only makes him all the more persistent to force his presence on her). He enjoys antagonizing others with his particularly witty sense of humor, but is prone to a bit of cranky snarkiness every so often. Kyro can come off as a tad lazy, as he's mostly found lounging in tree limbs all day, but this comes from a certain part of him that tends to avoid potential danger and things that are larger than him. As for things smaller than him, though he's a proficient hunter, Kyro prefers to snag a quick meal off a smaller predator rather than make the effort to seek out his own. Really, Kyro just sees himself as a prince that should be doted on, and a knight in shining armor for every female.
