Arcturus is a right asshat. His sole focus in life is him. He doesn't care about other people, save in one way, which is stated in his personal philosophy on life:
"Get what I want out of everyone, and leave before they realize they're used." Or thereabouts. He's not at all a nice horse, though he's quite good at pretending to be when he wants. After all, it's much easier to get what he wants out of you if you LIKE him. He will never mate, but he'll happily breed anything, and anyone, that comes his way, because he doesn't care. Just don't expect him to have ANYTHING to do with the baskets, or the foals. If he ever met his own kid, he'd probably never realize because he's just too self centered to care.
