[PRP] Mud, Glorious, Mud!

Tafuta pulled on the stick as soon as she heard her sisters muffled voice. She pulled and pulled, her claws trying to grip the ground beneath her. Oh why oh why did her sister go and get herself stuck in sinking mud?

She continued to pull managing to drag herself back and hopefully dragging her sister out. Honestly why was her sister so silly?

All that could be seen of Binti was her flaring nostrils and panic-stricken eyes. As her sister began to tug, she almost lost her grip on the branch, clamping her jaws even tighter, just to be safe.

At first, it felt like nothing was happening. She was still stuck. But then, as she tried to kick her limbs a bit, she felt herslef moving, feeling free-er. Little bit further and she could reach a hard surface!

TOUCH!

One of her paws met a solid surface close to the edge of the mud-pool and she started to heave herself out. Still grasping onto the branch her sister was pulling on so hard, Binti now had two paws on solid ground and could hoist herself out. With a sludgey-sucking sound, Binti was free.

She collapsed in a shivery, filthy pile, shuffling herself as far away from the mud-pool as possible before she was too tired.

Tafuta fell backwards as her sister came out and when she got up to look her only response was;

"Ewwwwwwwwww you look horrible and you stink."

What a loving sister.

"Come on lets get you home dad can clean ya up, I am sure he would just love to do that." She chuckled and trotted off a little, her tail flicking behind her before she turned back to see if her sister was following her.

"Look he won't come here, come on, then you can collapse. I aint cleaning you. Your filthy!"

Binti was still a little shivery, so at first, she got up, took a few steps, then sat back down again, and did this a few times before staying to her feet and actually following Tafuta. Silent.

When suddenly...

"Tafu...I'm...sorry..." she said in whispers, mostly because she was tired.

Tafuta turned around and smiled.

"It's fine, come on lets get home!" She chuckled somewhat before moving back allowing her sister to slightly lean on her if need be as they went home. Tafuta hoping that there would be some lovely food waiting for them.
