[PRP] Ask me no questions [Akin + Tiruan]

Akin smiled a little as he realised he was doing well. When Akin wanted something, such as these skills that Tiruan possessed, he would work toward it with everything he had. Goals where simply not on option, he would aquire what he had his mind set on. He rounded and faced the larger male, tilting his head to look up at him. "Hm...Hello?" he asked, as such things where normally said as a greeting for one approching you, or so he had been taught.

It was very likely that if he started to display these traits around his family that he would have a stern talking to from his mother, but as for now he didnt even realise that he was being molded into something that wouldnt nessicarily help his pouncing skills.

"Mmmm... well, you could say that. You are just a cub, after all. Not quite big enough to back yourself up..." Tiruan replied, regarding Akin with an air of thoughtfulness. Yes, he probably shouldn't teach the cub to be too arrogant. That could cause a bit of trouble. Then again, he was supposed to be preparing Akin for when he was a real man, and by that point he would be big and strong. Not that it stopped lionesses from trying to claw you when you said something nasty, but that was beside the point.

"Well, hello would work. But you should say it with a little more pride. You are the man after all, and you have to make people believe it."

Akin twined his tail around his haunches as he looked up at the male, noting his thoughtful expression and mimicing it for a moment before turning back to one of consentration. The tip of his tail flicked softly as he listened, slowly cocking his head to the side as he took everything in. Hello would work... but it wasnt the wording it was how you said it. Mother often said that too, how strange.

"Hmm... So... like. " he squared his shoulders and shot what could be considered and attempt at an apprasing look, which on a cub looked quite silly. "Hello." The tone was flat and he raised one eyebrow as he said it.


( *falls over giggling* Heaven help him if he retains any of this training. )

Oooh, that was much better. Tiruan nodded approvingly at the greeting, noting the raised eyebrow. Now that was a hello fit for a man. The lion was quite pleased with this little cub. He really did have the potential to be a good student.

"Wonderful. Now why don't you run along and test out your new skills? You'll need to practice for a bit, and when we meet again, I'll teach you something better." Truthfully, Tiruan just wanted to have a nap, but telling the kid he could come back wasn't too bad of a lie. The lion was already making himself scarce to avoid Mekali, so he was already going to be hard to find. Still, he didn't think he would mind another session with Akin. He was a good pupil, and very moldable. Yes, he really wouldn't mind seeing Akin again, but only after he had had his name. All this molding was making him tired.

Akin's face brightened at the praise and he grinned. Unable to stay still the engery which he had been keeping tightly wound up inside of himself exploded the a coiled spring. His paws danced on the ground it front of him, kneeding into the soil as his tail flicked back and forth wildly. "Really? Really Honestly truely!?" he had done well. He puffed his chest up with pride but nothing could wipe the smile from the cubs face. He had done well, he had earned praise with a promise for more lessions on skill learning later. Happy day!

He spun in a circle, reminded himself of his manners and rounded back to prance in front of the male again. "Thank you!" He bowed his head, as a propper pupil should to a master and looked up at him again, brown eyes alight with glee before he rounded again and scampered off the way he had come, no doubt to put to use the skill he had just learned.
