Ronan snapped back to reality with a blink. He had quite the knack for daydreaming. All he had to do was tilt his head slightly to the left, and off he went, his imagination and everything he had seen in his short lifetime taking him farther each time.
"Tall gray lioness?" He echoed, taking a moment to picture it. Well, yes, he had seen her from far off, if he remembered right. He had seen a gray figure, most probably a lioness, one morning. He couldn't be sure she was the one Kitambi was talking about though. "Well, I seen a gray lioness, but maybe not Isithunzi." He decided.
"I'll remember to go talk to her," He added gleefully, making a mental note that should he ever run across her, he would definitely make the meeting useful. Which meant he would not stop asking questions until he had a clear, clear picture in his mind everything that drum making might involve.

Kitambi, unlike Ronan, had probably never daydreamed in her life. Her days were spent in silence, contemplating life, or at the drum circle. She was thinking about everything from the moment she got up until the time she went to bed. It was just the way she was.
The cub nodded when Ronan repeated her description, shrugging when he said that he may not have seen her. "You'll know her when you see her. And even if you don't find the right lioness, somebody'll point you in the right direction. Nobody here's going to lead you astray or anything. Besides," She added, looking Ronan up and down for a moment, "I'm sure she'll be glad to have a willing pupil. She loves her drums. She should be over by the drum circle, if you want to find her. If not, continue your exploring."
Kitambi yawned, before resting her head on her paws. She had nothing else to discuss with the young male, and he seemed very interested in the drums. Perhaps Isithunzi would be a better lioness for him to talk to about all this.
