Negima is adorable and a bit ecchi. Take one 10 wizard in training, throw him into a middle school as an english teacher with a class of 30 girls who all come to have some sort of love for him (couple, son, brother, etc). It's really cute and you just gotta feel sorry for poor Negi who just doesn't get it.
Angel Sanctuary is also an intersting manga. Let's put it this way, the main character is in love with his sister. I was turned off my that but, everything else was so intersting! I say this one is just a read through, not a buy though.
Love Hina, Love&Collage (also known as Ai Kora), or you can just go to mangafox.com, go to manga directory, click show options and just click what you want like comedy, drama, and even ecchi.

I really enjoyed Ultra Maniac, chobits, Kodocha, and Marmalade Boy. Oh, and strawberry panic is a good one as well.

Its an awesome manga/anime.
I agree, it's really good, but I'd stick with the manga because the anime has a crap load of fillers. Bleach is also really good, other than the filler story arcs, but you can just skip them, and just look up what happened on wikipedia or something, but other than that it's really good. Death Note is really good too, though the plot can get kinda complicated sometimes. Trigun is also pretty good, but after a certain point the manga and anime differ greatly, same with Fullmetal Alchemist.
