Both Onis had jumped away from the attacks. Oni was a range fighter and could easily spot the attack coming. They landed at the same time and even if none of them made a move that would tell Yoh who was who. The real Oni was building up chakra so that he could use his jutsus in a rapid sequence. Both Onis looked towards Yohs face, to try and read him.

Yoh rushed forward, going for the Oni building up for attacks. Yoh struck forward with one hand, and under with another, trying to cover both ranges. Yoh liked being up close and personal with his opponents, so Oni's style really annoyed him.

Oni made a series of back flips as he tossed needles. Always 3 needles coming at 12.5 degrees angle from the center needle that went straight towards Yoh. The clone jumped in front and puffed into smoke so he would hide needles within it. This was to surprise Yoh and to keep his distance. To keep his rage going, anger made on take chances. It made one ignore danger and it was Onis plan. He knew Yoh disliked Oni most in the village or in Yohs top 5.

Yoh somrsaulted back, dodging two, and getting the third in his hand. He quickly yanked it out, and stuck it in the ground. "Try fighting up close for once! Then I can knock you off your high-horse!" Yoh yelled, throwing more needles forward and running behind them.

Oni just smiled as he jumped to the side getting away form the needles. This fight had ended up at his turf and he was far better on range then Yoh. This was tactics. Use your advantages to the max and don't get challenged into a losing battle. He kept his distance using basic acrobatics. He threw away needle after needle in waves to try and get Yoh to run so he wouldn't get to him straight lines. He was almost there Onis eyes tracked Yohs eyes so that he would be able to follow his movements. When he could read Yohs eyes he would get small clues to his attacks.

Yoh somersaulted backward again, then ran farther away on all fours. He jumped into one of the two trees for cover, trying to plan a new strategy.

Oni pulled out several new needles from his hair and made them harder as he kept his eyes towards the tree. Always take time to resuply. Now he needed to apolegize and thank his sister. Oni had his back towards the arena wall, Yoh couldn't attack from behind and Oni looked at the tree where Yoh had taken cower. It was a strange move from Yoh that Oni knew of.

Yoh decided to mess with Oni now, and created a few clones. He and his clones popped their heads out, and the six of them said, "Which one's the real one, Oni?" They all ducked back in, laughing. This would be a fun game.

Oni didn't move around. He just kept going on making the needles hard. Thanks for Yoh giving him the time he had filled his supply again. He didn't know what Yoh's game was but he did not planned on playing with it. Yoh had the advantage in an attack. If Oni would have gotten explosive tags he could with some time blow the tree up. Yet now he had none. Throwing a bunch of needle into the tree would end up with Oni out of needles, for the moment. A atatck would just lead Oni to have no idea who the real Yoh was. That would also be to Yohs advantage. "Bunshin no Jutsu!" 4 more clones stood there next to Oni. Patient wasn't his best store but now he could prove that he could wait for the opertune moment.

Each of the Yohs popped his head out in a random order, taunting Oni. "C'mon, Oni! Hit me! Hit me! Hit me! C'monc'monc'mon!" Yoh's strategy was to be generally annoying, and he knew Oni had a 1 in 6 chance of hitting him the first try...or did he?

Oni didn't do anything. He sat down and relaxed. Molded some extra chackra, he wasn't going to attack the tree untill he knew how to do it perfectly. "Yoh! You're are truly a naiv person. Why would I waste needles on clones in a tree when you can just make new ones? I do not think you waste any chakre at all when creating clones and I hope I do not have more needles then you have chakra or you truly are the weakest ninja of Kumogakure. Not to mention you where the one talking about close combat." If he only had a fire jutsu of some kind.

Yoh's clones popped their heads out again and laughed. "If I'm so weak, how'd you let me get behind you?" Yoh wasn't behind him, it was only a fluke. The real Yoh wasn't even in the tree, he simply was sitting behind it. 'Now...Should I get him in the eyes...or the throat...?' He thought.

Oni raised his left arm above and next to his head. Oni then tapped the wall behind his head. "I do remember a small child but not that thin!" Was the answer as he didn't know any one in Kumogakure that could walk through walls. That a genin could do such was then out of question. He had the advantage by the fact Yoh was a close quarter fighter and there was serious range between them now. A way Oni planned to fight through. Kaede could call him a coward but he felt no reason to fight close with any one at this point.

Yoh's clones jumped out of the tree, and a puff of smoke appeared, leaving more clones. They all charged Oni, the real one near the front. Thay all held kunai in one hand, and three senbon in the other. "Time to lose your eyes, Oni!"
