Hahaha I was gonna be all like, heck noo. But oh well, I had to write a book of like twenty for school, and this is the only other one that I kinda slightly like;

Beauty of the World

They say that beauty is in in the eye of the beholder...

I see the world without a veil,
covering my eyes.
I see the poor, the sick, the hungry,
I see right through the lies.

I see the devastation,
Beauty long destroyed,
By evil greedy tyrants,
Their heart a big black void.

And I stop and think, Where is the Beauty?

But then I see the ocean,
Clear and vast and blue,
I see the snowcapped mountains,
and the forests too.

I see the animals running wild,
the big, the small, the strong and weak,
Living together in harmony,
Even the hawk with the murderous beak.

And I know, Here is the Beauty.

Sometimes I still wonder about the world,
The devistation caused by man.
But then I realize, we can change that,
Will you lend me a hand?



It had a first paragraph thing, but I deleted it because it was cheesy and didn't add to the poemm.

Aw...I like that poem! I like the whole set-up, and how it is sort of a persuasive writing piece. I like how it is saying how we should all help the environment, right? And that how horrible mankind is sometimes. XD;; At least, that's how I interpret. But, as many people know, poems are always interpreted multiple ways.

So... the other day I was bored, so I wrote this, so... yeah:

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmDear Bestfran,

You know me better than me,
Cheesy yes, but true.
Yet you can't seem to see,
That I can't function without you.
An ocean and thousands of miles
Are all that lies between us,
You and I are undergoing trials,
I don't mean to make a fuss.
But every time you talk about her,
It feels like you've shattered my heart
You're acting more like a brother,
When the hell did this start?
I love you, but you deserve more
My chance with you is gone,
You've shut and locked that door,
Sleepless nights, I wait for dawn.
But if one day we meet again,
be sure I'll take advantage of that godsend.

Wow...nice poem! It's filled with emotion. Was this from a real experience, or did you just make it up off the top of your head?

um kinda,
I was super homesick and missed him a lot a lot.
but i don't think I'm in love with him.
besides, we tried dating, but it didn't work.

I forgot to mention I have the prologue for a new story up.
My friend is helping co-write chapter one, but she went on vacation, so we prolly won't see it until maybe august? Or not, because then I might join her on vacation.
