he can use an Trillian or anything similar to log into his msn...or just use and older version of msn..or even Windows Messenger(which is a stripped down version that come with your pc)

and as for the discussion on on instant msngers talking to each other
MSN and YAHOO is the only one that can do that(must have the most recent versions)

anyways but really wtf is that thing in ninit msg...and where the hell did you get it from and how can i trust i

Windows Messenger forces you to update before you can use it. That's what the problem was. It's fixed now, though, and there's no use trying to fix what works.
