He grasped the handle of the mug and brought it to his lips for a sip. It would have burnt his throat, his tongue, was he a normal person, but he was a pyro. He was used to fire, to heat. It didn't bother him as the scalding liquid slipped down his throat. "I've been well. How about you?"

He himself didn't care how Aurelius had been either. He wasn't even sure why they were having this talk. What else could they talk about? They could even end up fighting like old times.

"Oh, my grandfather died," she said carelessly as she pulled the top off of the paper cup her mocha had come in and poured miniature marshmallows into it. "Perhaps nothing too special beyond that." Taking a sip of her mocha, she looked out the window at the people who walked by.
