Siegfried walked through a heavily wooded area bored and worried.

Kitty sat in her tower thinking of what she could do. she was the village's guardian and wouldn't be allowed to leave until she found something important to do.

Voldo had caught that scent again. Soul Edge had been released once more into the world. For the sake of his departed Master, Vercci, he knew he'd have to pursue the sword. However, he remembered the previous awakenings of the sword, and knew he could not do it alone. He'd need a disciple, as his master had needed him. How exactly that would work... he didn't exactly know. When you were blind and mute, it was very hard to communicate with people. So, of course, Voldo went by the old standby; he'd find a disciple first, then worry about training later. He sped of into the night looking for worthy warriors of his teachings...

Kitty left the tower in the dead of night wearing her too small armor. she accidently ran into man who was trieng to stay awake. As she did this the soul edge piece that supossedly served no purpose began to pulsate hurting her and eventually making her collapse.

Siegfried tried to help this starnge girl and took the armor from her. He noticed she was almost the same as him in apperance. He hoped she would wake up soon.
