new guy here and my theory is the same about her mind power. Stephanie stressed too much her ability as a human to be untouchable in the mind. i think she'll be better at it or some type of mind power. won't know till the final book comes out.

You know when Bella, Edward, and Alice are with the Volturi? Well, Jane was not able to harm her or hurt her in any way. Also, Edward can't really tell what she's thinking. That gives me the idea that Bella would get the power of being untouchable (through the mind) by any other vampires.

I agree completely...I thought that too.
And it would be very interesting.
I cant wait till Breaking Dawn comes out!

my friends and i discuss this at denny's a lot (they have rocketship cups guys, you gotta go!). we think it'll probably be something to do with protection from other vampires powers, like she more or less has now. but we've thrown around the idea that she might have the power to protect the minds of those around her as well. that would be cool, right?
