My last girlfriend was black, her name was Ericca and she didn't know a think about the fandom when I brought that subject up, and we continued our life and broke up several months later
But if I ever have a furry girlfriend that wants me to become a furry... I think I'd break up with her if she kept on inisting, geez D:
OOOH! And by the way...
Some non-furs do get pissed of hearing about the "furry side" of things
To be honest, I kinda get pissed when I realized it existed beacuse well... some furries do ruin BEAUTIFUL things and jokes, OR, just never shut up about it, gee, that makes my blood boil l:

i agree with [-Erik-]...i see myself as a furry..and i don't mind talking about it...but some people talk about it waaaay to much...anything can become grating if it's kept as a constant.
No my mate isn't. she's been my friend for about five years now, and my mate for about a year and a half. she has no problem with it, but she isn't into it either. she's really just an artist...so she's pretty open to art if it's good or has feeling to it...so we share that

Boyfriend's a furry. ^^ Come to think of it...I think it'd be really hard to have a mate who wasnt a furry, or at the very least unsympathetic to the fandom. We all need our little obsessions and oddities....

I've had two significant others.
One who was, still is, deeply Christian, and I didn't disclose to her. I passed my messenger name off as a joke or 'something I did when I wasn't thinking.' She eventually broke up with me because she felt I was too mean to her friends, who constantly nagged me about being with her.
One was understanding, but we got together at the wrong time. I was oblivious to her feelings for me, and too afraid to show my own. She and I are still friends, and she insists on teasing me, playfully of course, about my various kinks and furrydom in general. She admitted to me that it wasn't her cup of tea, but said that 'whatever makes me happy is fine' because she has her kinks, too. She is currently moving to Arizona, to live with her fiancé and his family.
So yeah, there ya go.

My mate is a furry, and a very kinky one at that whee
Me, a tall, slender fox with decent muscles and a pawprint tattoo on my left chest and long head-fur (Bangs sort of in the style of Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 4, but with rainbow streaks, and the ponytail in back is black), always well-combed fur.
Him, a tall, muscular skunk with shoulder length head-fur, an Ouroboros tattoo replacing the iris/pupil of one of his eyes, a couple ear-piercings, and another tattoo that I forget about.
We've been together going on about 6 or 7 months, and I still learn more about him every message we exchange.
We also share a lot of intimate interests (Kinks and fetishes). Most importantly, we share a love of diapers (He's a Diaper-fur, I'm an Adult Baby-fur), and many other things encompassing the Fandom.
We love each other so much, and are already considering arranging for visits to each other's home countries (Me to Scotland, Him over here to the U.S.), and possibly marriage/Domestic Partnership (Depending on where we decide to live). We even enjoy video games whee

There tend to be people like that. My friends and I get into good little scuffles over furries now and then, but in all honesty for how much animosity exist with others and furries I do enjoy freaking them out now and then.

Where I live you'd be pointed out as a freak and no one would want to talk to you for looking at yiffy pictures : D But since no one here knows what a furry is, things would be complicated for one living where I live, Im just curious about how my life here would be like if I was a furry...
