Kasumi was caught in a moment of amazement, but it didn't last long. She separated her hands and streams of lightning appeared between them. Kasumi focused as much as she could for the short time she had. The lightning between her hands began to swirl as positioned herself. Kasumi thrusted her arms forward, this her hands only about 6 inches apart. "RAI-Hoah sho koh ken." Kasumi says as a small ball of lightning is released from her hands. This was a new technique that she had been working towards, and it seems that the last fight helped her get the understanding she needed to do it this time around. The ball of lightning that Kasumi released hits the water dispersing it. Even with such a small ball it was quite powerful. Kasumi fell down to one knee, propping herself with her right arm. That one shot took more out of her than she imagined it would.

Shuna's arms dropped and she stood there breathing heavily. She was surprised that Kasumi had such a counter at her disposal. Knowing that it took a lot to do that, Shuna felt that the next attack was going to have to be straight physical. Another try at that technique wouldn't be possible for her, even if it would allow her to win.

Kasumi looked at Shuna and was waiting for the next move. Would it be her or Shuna to make it? Kasumi knew that this was going to be it, it was all or nothing at this point.

Shuna steadied her breathing and rushed at Kasumi. This was a tactic that wasn't used very often at all, as it normally ended in failure. Shuna was going the make her last stand punching and kicking.

SissyMX Shuna steadied her breathing and rushed at Kasumi. This was a tactic that wasn't used very often at all, as it normally ended in failure. Shuna was going the make her last stand punching and kicking. Kasumi saw Shuna coming in and decided to retaliate doing the same. She got up and rushed forward. Kasumi threw a punch at Shuna as they closed in on each other.

Kasumi didn't have time to react as she was already on the offensive, and Shuna's counter punch was going to connect. As Kasumi notice Shuna was going to take the attack to dish out her own.

As Kasumi's punch landed, Shuna noticed that hers did as well. They were tied. Shuna stumbled back from the hit and threw a open palmed slap at Kasumi. Shuna was to tired to make a fist anymore.

She took a step to the right and retaliated with a slap of her own.

Shuna was going to try and hold out longer than Kasumi from this point on, but she wasn't sure she could to be honest. Shuna threw her right arm out again to slap Kasumi back.

Shuna was hit with Kasumi's counter slap again, only this time she pushed over slightly. Shuna lost her balance and grabbed out toward Kasumi. Kasumi's garment was grabbed by Shuna as she lost her balance. Shuna weighted more than Kasumi could hold at this time, and Kasumi fell with her. Falling to the ground Shuna ended up with Kasumi on top of her like a westler. Shuna was in no condition to do anything other than just lay there and give up.

Kasumi laid there for a moment, then rolled off of Shuna. Kasumi turned her head toward Shuna and spoke to her. "...hah...hah....You....You deserve to be promoted Mist Girl." Kasumi was to tired to move really, but she knew if she didn't attempt to get up neither of them would advance. Kasumi lifted her head as she was trying to get up.
At that moment a Jounin flickered in, "I got you. You did well, I think the Kages will be happy with that performance."
