The Dead Terrorist Achmed

Zaaki The Dead Terrorist Achmed dark__sunshin In my point .. i see laughing at a religion is very humilating for it .. even if some of the people in this religion make EXTREMLEY wrong things .. but still .. u should stop them from doing the wrong stuff , we musn't laugh at them coz laughing at the wrong things won't do anything . Getting angry about it doesn't seem to do much either. Actually I find it increases tensions more than laughing it off. There's a difference between joking about religion and being blasphemers and crossing the line.
The tema of the "joke" is: Muslims are stupid terrorist... Correction: making fun of the stereotype that people think of Muslims as.

That was some hilarious video.
On a side note, well, yeah. It saddens me all the time that when people hear of the word Muslim, most of them will immediately think of terrorists or extremists.
-sigh-

LOL. Sometimes, those silly stereotypes about us make me laugh. xD
But it's sad at the same time. I really want to get rid of this "terrorist" label on us. :/

This was the same problem faced by Jews and other minorities in the past. To deviate from this problem, you must be better at being a good person than anyone els, hold your head higher, be more sensitive to situations, and don't let people knock you down for your faith.....
I think this is a testing time for all Muslims....the question is...what are we going to do about it?
are we going to be willing to adapt our faith to the world of today and the future or are we going to be hung up in the past, stuck on only following rules and tradition?
Look around us. The world is rapidly changing. How long are we going to keep up some of our practices simply for the sake of Tradition?
I think praying to Allah takes more prevalence than following archaic traditions.

tassan good i really am impressed by you... The Dead Terrorist Achmedbut one question? "The Dead Terrorist Achmed" ???? what do you say about this? I say it is a touch of irony and sarcasm that I have it as my username. I originally wanted to be Achmed the Dead Terrorist, but somebody beat me to that title...so I reversed it a bit.
besides, dead terrorist sounds much funnier than live terrorist, or terrorist on its own.

Aw, you guys shouldn't take the stereotypes so seriously, y'know? Christians have plenty of bad stereotypes too, but they don't get offended by jokes. (Er, most of them don't.)
For example, a lot of Christians are thought of as evil, oppressive people. Which, y'know... there is a history of that, but... Not all Muslims are terrorists, and not all Christians are oppressive.
So when someone makes a joke about Christians being oppressive, most can just shrug it off. I'm sure most Muslims do that, too.
As for the actual joke: I loved Achmed the Dead Terrorist. XD I find the jokes to be funny. But I know that Muslims aren't really like that.

Do you know the prophet muhammad tell jokes too, he told an old woman that in paradise there are no old people.
The old woman cried after hearing this but the prophet explained to her that in paradise Allah will give them their youth back.
So based on this I believe jokes are ok as long there is moderation and going not off the line.
