I've had that whole "run to the nearest wal-mart, clear the place of the zombies and barricade self in, raid hunting department and steal a backpack or two and fill it with as much ammo/food as necessary" idea for the LONGEST time.
It's no joke.
It's really in the big book of disaster (including hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes...) plans I have.

*pulls out randomly highly explosive hand grenades put of nowhere* where are the zombies? *i look around and spot them right behind me* oh. i dont' need these. *puts away hand grenades and pulls out giant sword* aver! come at me with all you've got! *innocent bystanders are amazed and start wondering where i put all my gear*

same, cept with home depot, using nail guns andtheir knifes, using planks to build a shelter...
