[Tyhoon]

The flail's spiked head flew past the monk's head as he regained balance. He lowered his stance and threw his left knee forward.  

[Tyhoon]

The attack missed and the club-bearing goblin placed himself in the far end of the shack, flanking the monk but exposing the entrance. With the monk's back now facing him, the creature attempted to bludgeon the monk at his blind-spot.  

[Tyhoon]

The club split the air as the broad arc missed. The monk attempted to regain his footing and get back into a fighting stance over the bleeding corpse. With the monk to his side, the second goblin swung his flail upward.  

[Tyhoon]

The flail swings past and takes a few strands of the monk's silk-black hair with it. The situation looking grim, the monk decided to step back and try to regain control of the fight. At the shack's threshold, the monk loosened his stance and prepared to dodge.  

[Tyhoon]

The goblin with the flail met him at the doorway, weapon raised. It let loose with a distinctly sharp attack.  

[Tyhoon]

In one fluid motion the monk evaded the blow and raised his right leg to shoulder height. As he pivoted to face his agressor, the monk launched an axe kick.  

[Tyhoon]

The blow landed.  

[Tyhoon]

The goblin fell limp on top of its dead friend; he would soon be joining it in the afterlife. With the doorway now partially blocked and the last goblin realizing it was about to die, it began to sob and speak what sounded like gibberish to the monk. It was on the ground in tears, its club not far from it.

The monk entered the doorway and beheld the pitiful creature. Taking no pity on the sobbing goblin, he lifted his right leg up again to complete the task assigned to him.

With the Goblins now defeated and the Unicorn still bound and under the effects of some type of narcotic, the monk stepped forward and began to solve one of these problems. As he loosened the knot, he realised just how poorly done they were; the rope was of inferior quality, most likely poorly stripped bark weaved loosely, and the knot itself was nothing but a once over. Had the creature not been drugged, it would have easily freed itself and killed these goblins.

These creatures were assigned this task, and were meant to fail, but by who? The monk looked over toward the stack of small bodies in the corner of the shack; if he understood the creature's language, he would probably know part of what was going on by now. At least he would have a lead. All he has now is an unconsious magical horse and a feeling of unease.

Rather than risk a sharp horn impaling him, the monk left toward the small town, leaving the creature unbound and unaltered.
