Various chocolate colours. His mane is predominately light brown, but gradually melts into darker shades as it goes further down.

Uovu is an average sized lion. He is quite skinny (you can see the ribs poking through his flank as he walks) and a little undernourished, due to the desolate area he resides in. He is not sicky, however, and is quite athletic for a lion of his age. Because he trains himself, he has quite a lot of stamina, which is useful in battle.

I ain't gonna' put you through no sob story.

• The Early Years:
A harmless, yet early sign of a lust for power...

Not much is known about Uovu during the earlier stages of his life. He hasn't really had the opportunity to discuss much of it, but it seems that he has led a fairly normal life with an equally normal upbringing. Uovu probably lived with his parents and siblings (identities unknown), until he reached young adulthood. At this stage, it was apparent that he needed to stretch his wings and live a life of his own without reliance on parental support, so he ended up doing what most do upon growing up - travelling.
He does not often speak of where he has been and what he has seen, but it seems that Uovu did have a good time (perhaps he travelled alongside childhood friends; however, since adulthood he has lost ties with many of his connections from earlier life). It is known that Uovu, while on his journey, claimed to be interested in 'seers', 'acting' and 'power'.
He settled down only after his paths crossed with a fierce lioness named Katavi and her 'mother', Roho, and was offered a place in their 'cult', the 'Tononeka', after catching their interest.

• Adult Life:

Mingling with women and assassins...

Having led a fairly normal and bland life up until reaching adulthood, Uovu was clearly not prepared for what was to come. He got into a brawl with Katavi and Roho, two fiesty lionesses who accused him of trespassing on their territory (the truthfully unclaimed 'Southlands'). However, these two lionesses realised that Uovu was not simply a normal rogue... he had a lust for power and strong ideals, and so held potential. Uovu joined the Tononeka glad-heartedly, unaware what he was soon to face.

At first, the lion had a sharp disliking for Katavi. She was, according to Uovu, a rather frightening woman. However, he soon came to like her, and as time passed, love her. So began their wonderful relationship, and Katavi later gave birth to Uovu's first litter of cubs. This should have been rather good news for the two lovers, but due to the pressure of everyday life in the demanding Tononeka cult, the couple began to bicker and soon the spark from their relationship had been lost.

Uovu, by then, had found his eye wandering. Day by day, he went out for walks in the Southlands, patrolling the barriers in order to fulfil his obligations as a sentry. However, it was upon one of these wanderings that he first laid eyes on a lovely young missus named Toroka - a slender, flirtatious and cheerful brown-furred lioness that gripped Uovu's heart immediately. The two arranged to meet again and again, flirting with each other every single time. Toroka believed Uovu to be single, and had no ideas of who he was affiliated with (Hodari'Roho being the sworn enemy of her brother, Kiwi), and so a forbidden relationship unfolded. Toroka stayed innocent, trusting and loyal to Uovu, while Uovu's own heart was torn between lust and guilt. He began to realise that he dearly loved Toroka... yet, he already had a mate, Katavi, back at the camp, and this mate not only had born him cubs, but she was Roho's adopted daughter.

But Uovu's life was not finished spiralling out of control. On one of his last meetings with her, Toroka revealed that she was expecting cubs of her own, and that they were his.

Unknown. Uovu has not revealed anything of his origins to others, and the identity of his parents are unknown. It is also not known if Uovu has any siblings.

This gorgeous feline first caught Uovu's eye during a rather vicious catfight over trespassing. Katavi was quick-witted and moved like an assassin, almost grinding Uovu into the dust as she fought alongside her mother, 'Hodari'Roho'. It was after this battle that Uovu was offered a place in the Tononeka cult.
At first, Uovu severely disliked Katavi. To him, she was a fierce, frightening woman, and he wanted nought to do with her. However, as time went by, Uovu started noticing her - the way she moved, the way she talked, how strong and dedicated to the cult she was - and he was instantly interested in catching her attention.
Soon enough, the unlikely couple came together as lovers. However, the stress that came with the Tononeka bore down so hard on the two that their relationship subsequently crumbled. The spark was gone, and with Katavi expecting cubs, Uovu's eye wandered.
Uovu still feels something for Katavi, but much of the love has been lost. He now feels guilt and shame for what he did, and meekly hopes Katavi will forgive him. However, he realises and grudgingly accepts the fact that their relationship may never be the same again.

This beautiful lioness stole Uovu's heart the moment he met her. She was curvy, flirtatious, sweet and single. Best of all, she didn't ask questions.
Uovu, at first, simply used Toroka as an escape from the harsh reality of his own difficult life. However, it wasn't long before the raggedy lion began to develop strong feelings for her - a wild mixture of intense love, lust and guilt. It wasn't until Toroka revealed that she was bearing his cubs that Uovu openly betrayed her, stealing 'his share' of the cubs away to the Tononeka, leaving Toroka with only two of her four children.
Uovu still does hold a strong liking for Toroka, even if their loving relationship has been broken beyond repair. His guilt over the matter is immense, and feels troubled every time he looks at his children, for they bare such a strong resemblance to their mother.
