Huh...I read Carlisle as Car-lie-sel or Carl-eye-zel (to present two slightly different versions...). It sounds better than Car-lie-el and some of the absolute butcherings I've heard my friends use...

I tell them it's Car-lie-sel, Carl-eye-zel, or Car-lie-el...not Carlizzle or anything like that... stare

As for Volturi, I say Vol-tchure-ee (for the middle, it's kinda a hybrid between "chyea" and "sure")
