Pein will be defeated and I think Sasuke and Naruto will team up eventually. There are signs that point to it.
With the way the manga is looking, Naruto will most definitely achieve Hokage status.
There are a lot of loose ends still around, I'm eager to see what Kishimoto is going to do with them.
