He laughed, giving her a pat. "Don't worry, it's not the most... Logical, is it?" He paused, glancing about. "And it's best to not mention other goddesses around here. I don't think Mama'bwawa would be happy." Of course, he'd never MET her, but he could only guess she'd be displeased to hear the name of another god or goddess in her lands.

The confused look only grew. "Who's Mama'bwawa?" She frowned, standing up. "The only goddess is Finar-si!" She started to loom, then remembered how much... SMALLER he was. She sttled instead to just giving Zimwi a disgruntled look. But then... She looked around, suddenly worried about some unknown goddess rising up out of the muck to eat her.

"She's the patron goddess of the Swamps. Like your Goddess is the patron of your pride." He stretched, then went to the water's edge. "I don't know how any divine bodies act towards each other, though, so I guess a safe stance is to express caution when talking about one on the lands of another." He looked at her, smiling. "But we're not dead yet, so I guess she doesn't mind or somethin'."

Following after him, the white lioness glanced around. After a moment, she shivered. "Ugh, it's a bit cold here... Um... How do I get out and not sink?" Or swim, for that matter... She eyed the water distastefully, not liking it much herself. But that mud on her was starting to ITCH... Shaking her coat, she noticed bits of dirt dropping off. It was worse than sand in the fur!

Placing a paw in the water, Zimwi looked at her. "Well, you could go this way. It's a straight shot to the border, but there's a lot of swimming." He looked her over, frowning. "And it looks like you could use it. Dried mud can be a burden and it feels just awful." Without much further argument, he jumped into the water, swimming to the next island.

Savitri cringed, not liking the idea. But considering her options... She had little other choice. Taking a deep breath, she followed him in. The mud between her toes was a feeling she could have done without, but she was soon paddling after him. At the least, the mud washing off her coat felt good, and she found herself swimming in the odd circle. It was almost.... Nice. But it was cold, and she hated that part, soon following the male from island to island towards the border.

As they reached the border, Zimwi shook his mane out. Looking to the lioness, he offered a smile. "When you see Bodaway again, tell him I said hi, and I found my place." He looked back, inhaling the smell of the swamps happily. "If he feels inclined to come find me, tell him where I am, too." He looked back at her. "Goodbye, Savitri! I hope you find your inner strength!" Zimwi then turned, trotting back into the swamplands, vanishing like a ghost.

As she watched him go, she couldn't help but marvel. What a strange little lion... Shaking her head, Savitri turned and started to walk. She had a lot to think about... Rogue brothers, adopted sisters that were the cousins of an adopted uncle... More divine beigns than just Finar-si... It was enough to drive a lion mad trying to figure it all out, if they weren't used to it! She grunted, then began to head in a new direction. Tomorrow would bring a new land, surely, and more welcome experiences.
