((I do not know because I don't think it was suggested but is this allowed for multiple sparing. I do believe it would be fun and interesting if we had three separate battles all going on at once. The one going on now, Sogue and Zedo, another one in a different room, Joa Boo and Sogue, and another, Joa Boo and Zedo. I would so enjoy jumping in here and don't worry, Joa Boo is only a big supper hard guy in the story mode because he has to be for the stories sake. I will not be unbeatable by no means. This sounds cool))

((Yeah. I had the idea that you can spar anyone as long as you have consent. They would be battles happening at different times, but it's fine to have more than one going on in the thread at the same time.))

Sogue took a few hits to his face before bloodlust took him. His eyes grew focused, dark and seperate from the world. The humor of his last attack was gone.
"Get. Off. Me," he managed, struggling for breath. Through sheer force of will he managed to throw Zedo off his chest, rose to his feet slowly. He was breathing hard, glaring Zedo down. It wasn't a personal thing, he just didn't like not being able to breathe.
Sogue dashed forward as Zedo was still recovering from the throw. The vampire slid to a prone position on his back, wrapping his arms around Zedo's throat.
"Give up?" he said, giving him a warning squeeze.

Zedo coughed once, twice, then managed,
"No."
With all his might, Zedo flipped himself. However, as you might expect, the added weight did not make a complete flip. Instead, Zedo fell hard on his back. Well, Sogue fell hard on his back and Zedo landed on Sogue's front. Zedo stood quickly and tried to calm himself and control his breathing. Sogue stood and grabbed Zedos arm as Zedo had come in for a punch. Just as Zedo wanted.
He swept Sogue's legs, and as the two fell Zedo used the hand Sogue grasped to catch himself, resulting in Sogue swinging about Zedo's forearm like a pole. Attempting to land on Sogue, but missing, Zedo hit the floor and stopped the vampire's body with his legs. With a yell of pain, every fiber in Zedo's arm burned as he pulled Sogue up. The vampire let go and Zedo made another swift kick for his chest. Landing a hit, due to Sogue's disorentiation, Zedo moved in to shoulder charge the blonde man into a pillar.

Sogue was pushed backward by the charging Zedo, slammed into a piller. Warm wax spilt from the candles onto their feet as they endured the temporary burning sensation. He felt himself being pushed higher and higher up on the piller, eyes closed. His feet wriggled in the air until he found purchase, pushing off the pillar with all his strength, he came tumbling out of Zedo's grasp. Sogue landed in an awkward roll before recovering, standing quickly to re-evaluate the situation.

Zedo turned sharply, confused and a little disoriented by Sogue's sudden and tactful disapperance. Trying to give himself an advantage, Zedo grasped the same pillar with both hands and ascended it with a steady pace. Left foot moving with right hand, right foot moving with left hand. He stopped near the top, and swung out, gazing about the room.
The sight was beatuiful, it reminded his of the 90's. The room seemed to disappear in all directions, dimly lit by candles. Sogue was still missing from his view but for a moment Zedo cared little. That weakness is going to kill me someday. I have to stop admiring scenery.
But still, he gazed. Smiling at the warm feeling he suddenly felt and the anime-esque fight that was occuring then and there, Zedo still remained vigilant deep down.

((Alright Drew, have it your way. Chris and Brad, if you'd rather us start our own topic, I'll happily oblige, but I'm too lazy to right now.
Who: Joa-Boo vs. Ace Wishart Type of Sesion: Skirmish/training Where: Temple grounds/inner sanctum (Indoors, tiled floor, high ceiling, surrounded by high pillars) weather: Warm, dry, night.))
He was there when he entered the temple. They stood in silence for a moment, staring each other down. Ace watched the veins pulse in and out all over his body, his muscles teeming with strength.
This isn't going to be easy.
The lycan bared his fangs and tensed his body; he was ready. Ace bowed mechanically, and pulled his right leg back, ready for battle. Long years of practice had readied him for this; he hadn't battled one-on-one with a great fighter like this before. He would need to pace himself. "Let's begin." Ace said to the great beast before him.
Joa-boo charged, eager to end the battle early. Joa-boo was a very experienced fighter, especially compared to Ace.
I'll have to use my fighting style to my advantage, I guess it'll be a battle with steel first.
Ace rolled to the right and drew Excalibur in his right hand, and pulled Felix out in his left. The style in which he fought, Excalibur held normal in his right hand, Felix held backhanded in his left, caught most opponents off guard. It allowed him to bring a new style into battle that most people hadn't yet seen, and couldn't predict, and he would need every advantage here. Joa-boo had drawn his scythe, the massive weapon held in his hands seemed to pulse with power. Strength was Ace's enemy here, he would need to use his agility to his advantage.
Joa-boo charged again, scythe down vertically to his right. He drew it up and swung at Ace's head. Ace brought Excalibur and Felix up to meet him, narrowly blocking the blow. They held in limbo for a moment. Ace pushed hard, knocking Joa-boo back. Ace drew back into a defensive stance.

((Absolutly fine for you to use this thread Alec. That's what it's for.))Sogue had ascended a pillar of his own. He lept from one to another, building up momentum. As he lept outward one last time, he emerged from the darkness, slightly higher than Zedo was, perched on his pillar. A swift kick at Zedo's position would either knock him off or cause one hell of a deadlock. Or severly hurt the vampires foot on the wooden pillar.
Oh well, chance he'd have to take. Besides, who doesn't love the element of surprise?

And surprised Zedo was. It wasn't everyday pale feet flew at him from the sky. Zedo spun quickly about the pillar so Sogue's foot collided with it. Bouncing off that one, Sogue turned in the air to bound off another right back at Zedo who spun again to dodge. I can't keep this up forever...
On his fourth bound attack, Zedo made a risky move and grabbed for Sogue's foot. It was not common practice to catch a flying foot, so upon catching the vampire's leg, Zedo's arm shot back and slammed into the pole. Elbow first. Zedo let a cry of pain spew from his mouth, then swung Sogue about with an Inhuman Rampage. Zedo wasn't exactly sure what he was going to do next, and in this moment of hesitation Sogue found a moment to grab Zedo's leg.
And they fell. The two men tumbled to the ground, from their high perch. If one wasn't watching close enough, one may have thought they were two wing'd men fighting to the ground. But no, no wings. Just a Vampire and a celestial being. In another life, perhaps they would have wings to fly.
But as it was they slammed to the hardwood floor gracelessly, and with little more than their dignity. Both men lay in their craters painting... trying to get up... so difficult...
Zedo attempted to Slow his breathing to regain control.

Joa Boo caught himself with his left foot kicking backward and landing firm into the ground to hold him hard and still. he gave a laugh with anticipation and rested the monsters blade along his shoulders. With power in his breathing his body seemed to pulse. He was storing, not really ready to do anything fun but watching, learning from his opponent.
"I should wish to only win by outsmarting you in the arts. If I hit you, I will hit myself back If you wish to make this fair." Joa Boo said with a deep laugh of crazy excitement. he was completely disrespecting his enemy and did so with one purpose, to get to his head. Joa Boo normally would be a much kinder and respectful person. This to him meant first impressions made everything. He wasn't fighting to make friends.
He bent low to the ground with his legs at an angle from his body. both hands lifted and outward form his body. The scythe resting on his shoulder balanced him just as much as he balanced it. He wouldn't grab it unless need be.
"Any rules you want to set before I really get into this."

Sogue rolled over, blood pooling from a cut in his mouth. He licked at the blood. It tasted good, but he could only hope to stymie his draining stamina by drinking his own blood. He tightened as many muscles as he could. Nothing was broken, but throbbing pain seemed to be everywhere. He pulled himself up on his hands, then managed to stand completly. He wiped a bit of blood from his face, licking at it. The sensation made him dizzy as he waited for Zedo to stand.
