When it first gets pierced you can't take it out or the hole will close.
.. and it takes a while to heal : /

Yeah but a newly done piercing will close up the second you take it out.
Thats why your not supposed to change out the ring or stud for about 3 months.

And try shoving a piercing in a closed up sore hole.
Ouch.
