I think that almost everyone here fails to understand the point of the tier list. It uses a combination of tournament data from tournaments that are confirmed of having high skill, as well the character match ups (x character has an advantage against y character) which are determined by the common player, and refined by the world's best players.
The argument "I'm good with X character" is frankly retarded. And I mean that by the literal definition of the word. Brawl is special in the sense that there is actually a fair amount of character balance, and it is more possible for a low tier to defeat a top tier than in melee.
Now for the individual examples.
"SAmus is low? Impossible, I kick a** as Samus." So what? Good for you that you're able to hold your own with a low tier character, but that doesn't mean she's better than low.
"Toon Link and Fox should go up I think. Just my personal opinion because I'm really good with them." I can understand the argument for Toon Link, but Fox just isn't godly anymore. He's decent, hence why he's in the middle tier. Also, see above for the second part of your post.
"I think Ike should be in High. " "But I see Ike all the time in Brawl Wifi and stuff,I even play as him most of the time, and he kills. " "And honestly,I rarely ever see MetaKnight,and Ike's sword attacks seem to waste him far to easily. "
Ok, no offense, but do you even play slightly competitively? Playing "with anyone" does not count since that's a 4 way free for all which doesn't even really require skill. Just because a lot of random kids online use ike doesn't mean he should be top tier. This isn't pokemon where usage = tier placement. Also, any really good metaknight player isn't going to get hit by much of Ike's unless that Ike player has some insane mindgames. Yes, when ike connects he deals a lot of damage, but he's extremely, extremely slow, and he doesn't have the aerial dominance or projectiles of dedede to make up for it.
"Anyone care to explain,why MetaKnight is completely Uber?"
Because as of right now Metaknight has an advantage over every other character. Hopefully the metagames of each character will evolve more and some characters will counter metaknight, but it seems unlikely.

You're still thinking of last gen.
The game is pretty balanced. I've faced as many Olimars and Kirbys as Falcos and Metaknights. In the finals of tourney scenes, you'll be seeing a lot more Meta's, though. |
