I would like to see them make The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time made into a movie.
OH DEAR GOD NO. That book was so good, they would ruin it. There's no way they could translate Christopher's thoughts into an understandable storyline.
However, if we put this in the hands of say, director Marc Forster, and screenwriter Charlie Kaufman (or perhaps even Zach Helm), we might get something decent.
Just don't let Spielberg touch it. He hasn't been able to make a decent movie since "Schindler's List" (I'd say "Saving Private Ryan," but I haven't seen that one yet, though I'm sure it's good). Or Peter Jackson.
Actually, Clint Eastwood MIGHT be able to do it justice. As long as he doesn't give himself an acting role.
