well we do that when we visualize anything for a magickal purpose, we take our energy and change it into a new shape, or image, so our energy when astral should assume the shape we percieve right?

I have long hair(Appeartly so does everone else) which is dark with silver highlights. Cat eyes and tight fitting robes. My ears are slightly pointed like fey.
Hear is a question what do you smell in the astral? I tend to smell flowers while some others have said wood or forest smells. Some say nothing.

it depends on wear i go, like if i encounter an astral nasty i smell rotten meat, if i run into a higher astral entity then it smells like rain but usually its just the surroundings.

I don't generally smell anything when I'm doing my meditation/traveling bit. My sense of smell in real life is pretty weak, so I don't tend to focus on it.

I don't recall smelling anything. There's someone who sometimes smells like old blood but I rather like the scent so it's not a bad thing for me. Otherwise I don't think I focus on it enough to get anything.

I haven't successfully projected yet (I've gotten really close, though). But I figure our astral selves are a more perfected versions of our current bodies... that's what I'm getting from everyone else's posts. 3nodding

I wonder if anyone is naked in their astral form? :0

More than likely, yes. After all, there are nudists who astral project. Surely they wouldn't change their appearance just for that and not for how they love to live?

My perspective shifts a lot in the astral world, as does my form. Sometimes there is no visual sense of self, just energy. Really most of the time my sense of self isn't very strong. I'm phosphorous. There is no real separation between myself and that around me. I can and do get quite lost in all sorts of aspects.

Other times, though it's significantly less, I see myself like if I were looking in the mirror or in a recent picture. No add ons or alterations, but then I have a high opinion of my physical appearance. No reason for me to be less than honest or to mentally get rid of my frizz or other small imperfections.

Sometimes I smell things surrounding me, I guess it depends on whether there's anything to smell though. Mostly it's background smells though and not any scent from others in the astral.

I also experience touch though too. Indeed touch is far stronger and more important to me than any other sense in the astral. The way I can feel energy or the grass or whatever else I'm around can be completely overwhelming.
