its awesome i have nothing else to say.
and i vote for female. well drawing a female is more difficult that is why. and yea you should play with all kinda emotions in one face! well weird but you know smiling face with little weeping eyes!

you should use Open Canvas. it's a perfect program for drawing. ^^
