Ignoring the obvious homophone mix-up for a moment, should friend be singular if they've used we?

On topic, I don't always say anything, but I have been known too. Especially with the better-educated.


It probably should be plural. Wow, this billboard sucks.

The "too/to/two" issue happens a lot, as well. Homophones are just more difficult, I suppose.

Another "homophone" that bothers me: "Would of, Should of, Could of." It's have. Would have, should have, could have. It drives me insane.
