Anyway, it's difficult to use on the Enfield Cabine...
The front blade is really tall and it's hard to judge where it's shooting.
I might as well just part it out unless I get that .303 -> .32 thing.
Also, I ordered the magazines but we can't go to sportsmans until Saturday.
If they still have the magazine bundle available then, I might buy another.
Does ebay allow you to sell gun mags on there? wink
I'm thinking, two mags and a pouch for $40.
That'll cover the cost of the first, sell another, cost of second. 3nodding

I was looking for rear apertures for Enfields when I found this.

http://www.rifleman.org.uk/Enfield_Rifle_No.2_and_.22RF_Mk.III.html

...
I want the one on the top.
eek
No2. MKIV?
ENFIELD SHT .22 IV?

You can sell any firearm part on eBay that is NOT a part for a rifle classified as an assault weapon by the state of Kommiefornia.

So yeah, I've seen plenty of C&R gun parts sold on eBay, but my CHEEK RISER for an AR-15 is rejected for being an assault rifle part.

What about the mags? But the mags are ... stare ... high capacity, 20 rounds. Those are allowed on there?

Also, what I heard is that you couldn't sell stuff that would make a working gun, IE receiver or action.

I read on some of the parts auctions on ebay, dammit I couldn't find an example.
Tons of a ******** paintball gun parts and small parts for guns.
Anyway, I saw one where this guy had typed in red, well pretty much this;
"OMFG, Ebay you dumb cunts don't delete this auction! These parts don't include a receiver!" or some such s**t.
What exactly are the magazines for? You talking about reselling Enfield mags, getting those CETME mags, or something different?

Oh, the CETME mags yeah.

Is there even an online source for Enfield mags?

Well, you could always give it a shot. It only costs 90-something cents to list the thing, and if it gets pulled, now you know.

Well, there's always Numrich. And SPG of course, but that's kinda pointless for you.

I had a dream last night.

I took the 'mag release' for the Enfield off of mine, and brought it to my neighbor to have it be bent and lengthened, it was kind of like a second trigger. And since there was extra leverage it was easier to release the mag.
eek

I might have something there.
I could take the mag release switch off the bubba'd Enfield and see if my neighbor can do anything with it.

I have a feeling it might involve a bit more work than that though.

If that is at all possible, I think I have a good contender.
Just need me some more mags. sweatdrop

I have a bad feeling about that site though.

A set trigger magazine release? That might have some merit to it.

I agree, something seems shady.

Yeah, mags for Anschuetzes, Galils, FEGs, Cetmes, Steyrs, Calicos.

It's too good for it to be legit.

Walther P38 9mm 9 Round Blued Steel ProMag $21.95

Yeah, this site has got to be fake.
I have never heard of a 9 round mag. The only repro mags I found were for 8 rnds and I think they were a bit more expensive than $22. -S&H.

I went outside and tried the .32 insert. It was pretty accurate and didn't epic fail then I went and pulled the bolt back without thinking.
I lost the ******** thing in the snow.

I looked for indents in the snow in a 50 foot radius and couldn't find anything except for the shells I dropped to the ground.

I found my brass though! stare

I'd suggest to get it, it works pretty well.
But FYI, remove the damn screw that ejects your spent casings, removing the ejector would be a good idea too.

I didn't get a good rating at it's accuracy. I only shot at a glass bottle at about 30 yards.
Got it on the 3rd try. Which is probably pretty good for some half assed front sight.

The shots didn't appear to be flipping or splattered. So I guess it's fine.

Later on, maybe in the spring when I'm not so pissed about what happened I might buy another one.

Steel I think. But my luck it would have been run over by then.

I meant extractor not ejector.

Sounds like buying 10 and filling a mag is the way to go. Well, when I run out of .303...

The rounds don't stick in the adaptor.

Aww, damn. So you'd need to custom machine a magazine for it or something?

Probably, or put in some type of screw in the side to screw in and clamp on the casing, but that would have to be absolutely flush or inset a tiny bit.

Sounds like a tiny allen screw would work there. Dunno if I trust myself to do that though, and it'd probably end up being more work than it's worth in the long run.

How's the recoil though? Can you even really feel it?

Also, would painting it neon orange be a bad idea?

I was using a bubba'd cut down Enfield. I barely could feel it.
If you had the full 8-10 lb rifle I don't even think it'll have the kick of a .22.

Painting it bright orange would be good as long as the paint doesn't chip off in the chamber.
Also, doesn't any coat of paint a bit of width to something?
Might want to check that out.
