He doesn't know that firearm appeciate in value? neutral

Show him the prices on some NFA stuff, compared to what they USED to be. Hell, compare ANY firearm price with what they used to be.

Apparently only commercial firearms who's manufacturer goes out of business appreciate in value. IE, Winchester.

Yeah, since the supply of K31s dwindled they've gone up in price.

According ot him, maybe. I haven't seen much in the way of ANY firearm that's depreciated in value. Hell, the price of a CETME should make that clear enough. What did a CZ-52 cost during the Cold War? $10? There are many examples that firearm APPRECIATE in value, not depreciate.

I've fired a K31, they are sweet shooters, but take some getting used to.

Even the shittiest of firearms have gone up.
... the French guns.
rolleyes

Eh, I'm guessing the K31 is the Powerglide transmission of bolt action rifles.

He didn't say his name but he did have a taste for bad weaponry.

In retrospect, if I got a Chauchat for absolutely dirt cheap (<$50) I'd keep it just to find out how bad it really is. If it's really s**t even on a clean range, I'd hang it on the wall or something.

Would spark some interesting conversations.

"WTF is that thing?"
"This, my friend, is the biggest piece of s**t you've ever laid eyes on..."
