The only 3 I could think of are the japanese T-99, the Bren, and I'm pretty sure the Sten was from the side as well.

I know I saw a carbine somewhere that had a magazine on the side, but I can't remember which one. I distinctly remember a wooden stock on it.

The sten is side loaded, but if i recall that's an SMG not a rifle. wink

Anyway, yeah the PS90 "Bullpup" is the only American-made flat, top-fed loader that I know of and is seeing recent use in the Military. ... ... As well as Stargate SG-1. ;D
