dragn99 But... I just recently got a copy of Prime. Ah well, guess I don't get to wait with everyone. *shoots stuff with charge beam* Everyone's already played it. This warrants another purchase for me though.

You know, I've never actually played a Metroid Prime game. Just not too fond of FPSAs
But I may borrow this from a friend if he gets it, which he probably will. Just gotta try it out, I guess.

Akuyoko You know, I've never actually played a Metroid Prime game. Just not too fond of FP SAs But I may borrow this from a friend if he gets it, which he probably will. Just gotta try it out, I guess. Calling Metroid Prime a shooter is like comparing Legend of Zelda to Dynasty Warriors.

Well, he DID call it a FPA, and not a FPS. It's definitely more of an adventure game than a shooter. Still, if you're not into FPSs, this series isn't as appealing.

It's more the FP part that I dislike, regardless of if it's an S or an A. They tend to give me headaches.

Oh, that's understandable. I just wouldn't knock it because you don't like shooters. It's less focused on the run and gun stuff you see in shooters and much more focused on exploration and immersion. It's just that I get bored after a while, and long for online action. I have Metroid Prime Hunters for the Nintendo DS, and the online is awesome and really fun. I want that sort of action for the Wii's version. But if there's no online, then I'm not buying.
