_Emo Kid Says Rawr_ Digital Malevolence I've never been the a therapist, now will I ever. good, its not fun. i was 5 when i had one, i think i would be better off with out one, but nuuuuu i had to go, but hey im some what better! =D
You really have to shop around a lot and get recommendations in order to get a good therapist. I've had many different ones, and finally have found one who is doing a good job. Also, I think it depends on their degree really what kind of therapy you'll get... if they're a psychiatrist, it will be different from say... a social worker, an educational psychologist, child psychologist or other clinical psychologist. The other thing is, I've found that my family doctor/GP is a great person to talk to. They can't necessarily provide the same depth as a specialist, but they can be extremely helpful.
I do know what though to feel worse when going through therapy. And to go through that doctor merry-go-round. Ugh.
