Iar noticed that she was trying to protect her face and so started to concentrate his attacks there. What was the use of a pretty face, anyway, in these lands?
(( Sorry, short! XD ))

Her felt-like ears were getting ripped to ribbons as she tried to flee away from Iar's sharp claws, ducking and dancing just out of reach from her lovely eyes and cheeks getting mangled. Nasain had never been one for fighting and at this particular time she wished desperately that she would have been more confrontations than she had been. After all, fighting was a well acquired skill, not a gift from the heavens.
She twisted and felt his claws rip through the fur on her shoulder, exposing bare flesh to the world and letting pain surge through her body. Nasain shrieked and attempted to slice through his front leg with her razor sharp claws all the while wondering, 'Is it worth it?'.

Ah good, so she had finally decided to attack back! The noise Iar made at that was actually a pleased one, though there was an edge of pain beneath it. He didn't mind the pain, though ... in fact, welcomed it.
Backing off then, as he could see well enough she wasn't a fighter, he nodded slowly. "I think that you have some things to learn ... but that may come with time," he rumbled.

Breathing heavily, she stared at him, waiting for him to either stop completely or get ready for more pain. Her world was spinning from the blood loss and the pain surging through her body. It was almost too ridiculous for the gypsy girl.
The spark of fear in her soul was dimming with the increased pain. "Time?" She asked, voice shaking. The sweetness in her voice was pained and tired. "I'd wait as long as I have to..."
