Filling up the watering can, I let out a breath of relief and carefully my thirsty beauties.
"How careless of me..."
Like a shameless child, I rubbed the back of my head and grinned.
"If you all died," I said while continuing to water them, "I don't know what I'd do with myself."
Notice, these are indeed plants that I speak so familiarly towards.
This was a habit of mine that I just couldn't ever shake.
Plants are living creatures, too, right?
