Thank god I never had to deal with a yearbook. rofl It sounds kind of funny, though.
And I have layers, Usa. Hippie's a guy, they do guy hair differently - duh. Layers are nothing to fear, they just make it lay a little wavier.
Here's one with my hair curly for Christmas - you can braid it into one or more when wet and you get really curly hair. Curly And here's it straight - kind of old picture, since it was last summer, but I had just gotten it cut. Straight
I think what I'm saying is: ignore Hippie. Go to the salon and tell them what you don't want, how you want your hair to look, and that you're nervous about getting it layered. It's not like the stylist is going to go at you with scissors and chop it all off. Layers just help your hair lay better and give it some life.
My advice is to just get a trim; no layers, nothing, just a trim and see how you feel. If you think you might like to try something else, then go back and ask them about it. There are lots of options with long hair, Usa. Trust me on that. xd
