ahh i miss those days. i had a friend that was on the nominating committee for the sag awards last year. so he and i(sometimes) got to go to special screenings of movies before they came out. for instance i saw the dark night 3 weeks before it came out. in addition the cast and crew would be there sometimes. like for dark night the actors/actress who played the commissioner, two face, Rachel, and the director was there for question and answer sessions. the funky thing was they sent him dvds of movies still in theaters or in some cases not out yet. so if you see a pirated version of a movie and it says "for your consideration" somewhere on the screen, its cuz someone decided to make some money of their copies.

i hope he gets to do it this year. but i think they already chose the folks....sux
