I remember this movie... Oh, god, this movie was like crack to me biggrin
Maybe this spiked my furry obsession, I don't know, but I just remember it was a great movie 3nodding

The Lion King will forever be my favorite Disney flim.

I second this. heart The Lion King is what got me into liking anthro characters, and wanting to make them. Even though my art was never that good. ^^;

Really?

I was basically a furry since I was barely able to read, thanks to Richard Scarry.

Robin Hood is actually one of my least favorite Disney films.
Cardboard characters, repetitive animation sequences, terrible dialogue, pointless comedy sequences, almost no plot, scenes that make little sense, and an ending that literally is a deus ex machina which lands with a loud and resounding thud. When furries screen this turkey, I prefer to leave the room.

It's a early Disney movie, it's not like today, it was probably the best they could do with what they had.

It's a kid's animated film that was made in the early 1970's. xd

So... I wonder if we should have a "What would your furry movie be like" thread.

It'd probably have a lot of comedy, a little romance, and a lot of animation.

The reason Robin Hood was kinda under budgetted was it was coming out at a time there was less interest in the Disney movies, hence why it referenced a lot of previous movies for stock footage since they had to trim costs where they could. Also originally it was gonna be about the french tale of Reynard the Fox, but that got changed to appeal to something more broad, since Reynard wasn't exactly a hero of sorts.

Somewhat the same here. I had loads of those books when growing up. Course, I haven't seen the Robin Hood movie in a long while either, especially with the furry movement in full swing. Maybe someday in the future, though.

Think this should have its own thread?

I've been working on a couple of things - one a Metamorphosis-inspired horror trip, the other loosely inspired by the story background of Battletech and Poul Anderson's Ensign Flandry (which has hot tiger-aliens in it).
