Hello there, and welcome. I'm more of a regular lurker than poster, so most people generally only know about me briefly but I have a few soquili and was roaming, figured I'd say hello. I see you've got a thing for the Kalona eh? Same here. You know you are able to Rp your quested for soquili right? ^.^


List of my Soquili:

Saint Augustine - Full breed - Kalona (Won via the big july custom month)

RiverFaith - Full breed - Cerynei (Won via march custom)

Sita - Half Breed - Cerynei/Mutant (Won via June breeding)

Jabir - Full breed - Regular - Draft Horse Lines (Won via the big july custom month)

And I also own a Usdia female, she was my first custom by Ameh. But I've misplaced her image somewhere on the new computer. Anyways, yeah...those are all my soquili so far.

Well, running it past some regulars in the shop could help. Most of them know the in-and-outs of what goes and what doesn't. And I believe they'd be half-breeds by the sounds of that, however if they're half-breeds then they may not be allowed through customs.

Half breeds weren't allowed via customs until the large custom month we just got done with, where prices were slashed and cross breeds were allowed. I'm not sure if they decided to keep such a thing in place, or if they're going to still ban people from getting them via a custom slot.

I personally love backstories and playing such. It's why Jabir came into soquili (originally a pet from a different shop), River became a pet in the first place (she was just a character in one of my short stories), and why Saint is here in the first place (had to spice up River's life somehow eh?). <3

My stories are on hold while I get life in order, otherwise I might not be as chatty myself to be honest.

Half-Breeds were never offered via custom slots until that large custom month. During that time the shop gave it a go, and obviously speaking it was a big success. Needless to say, as far as I know that was a one-time deal just to see how things went until the shop and staff decide (if ever they do) to allow them via custom. I would suggest keeping them pure to a breed until/unless that rule is lifted and then save for a half-breed.

The shop thread is the only thread, it's not split into multiple threads. So you're good there. And wait for the rule to lift is my suggestion, instead of asking if they're available through customs because in the rules it states they aren't. So, most likely my assumption would be you'd be told to re-read the rules, or that they don't know and it's still under consideration. <3

When customs open up again I'll see what I can do about helping you get a custom. I hoard my gold on another account and helped something like 6 people try for customs during the last event, so we'll see what I can do. I like people that stay faithful to their quests and active on gaia in general.

@Kaimi: I understand about life and I'm grateful to you for taking time out help me.
I didn't realize until just recently that they may not be pure kalonas. They must have the horns and non-equine tails to count a full kalonas? I suppose I could add feline tails instead, but I really don't want horns.

Ok, good at least I found that place then. biggrin There seems to be rules scattered all over the place. I feel as if I'll never find them all. crying I know! It's a rules scavenger hunt!

You are very generous Kaimi. heart When I first started I found it very very hard to earn gold, just by surfing. I couldn't find anything to do. Back then I was a true newbie, and perhaps it frightened me a little. But I came back a while ago and found that everything seems easier. There's a lot more games for me to play. smile

Can I ask how you earn gold? Obviously you have a method that lets you help 6 people in one custom. If I could learn I would be able to afford my own customs and help others who needed it. If you don't want to tell that's ok too. rofl
