The Wasteland

John smiled " A few more days in the wasteland and and you'l understand what i mean" John Quickly raised his rifle and shot a bird. he walked over to it. "So where are you heading?"

"Nowhere in particular...it's better here than in what used to be Japan..." he bent down and picked up a small stone.

Joohn picked up the bird and studied it. He turned around and threw it to the boy. "Here"

Kyo caught the bird and looked up at him puzzled. "Thanks...but what about you?"  

[Kadaveret]

"i have food with me. im hunting for supplies to sell. beside, that bird would rot before im at the next village." John walked over to him. " I would guess even you know tat you cant live in this forrest. you could follow me to the next town"

Kyo looked down at the bird and back up at the man, "Sure, thanks..."

John smiled a bit and then his face turned serious " so Have you ever killed someone?" he asked and pointed the rifle towards Kyo's head.

Kyo's pupils dialated as he stared down the barrel of the gun, "No."

John put down the rifle "you think you could do it"

Kyo sighed and relaxed a fraction when he lowered it, "I don't know...I guess it would depend...why?"

"Because you'd probaly have to" he said

Kyo's eyes hardened, "I've never killed anyone...and I would try to keep it that way."

John sighed and walked over to his horse. "Hmm..anyway have you ever used any kind of firearm?"

Kyo shook his head, "No, I use what I find..." he held up the stone.  

[Kadaveret]

"riiiiight." John shaked his head and sighed. "So you seriously think you could fend off about 20 raiders with Rifles and guns by waving a rock at them?"
