[PRP - East] Siblings In the Rain [FIN]

[Twiddle]

Kazi heard his sisters muffled grumblings, and he couldn't stifle a small chuckle. He instantly regretted it, and he poked his head out just a fraction to see if he could tell where she was.

A small gasp escaped him; she was standing literally on top of him! He could tell the hairs atop his head were touching her tummy, and he quickly pulled his head back down, though he was certain he had been discovered, or soon would be.

Zenda had been walking, aiming to turn around again at the edge of the cluster, when two sounds made her freeze in her steps. One was a chuckle, and since it hadn't come from her (she was a bit put out with not having found Kazi yet), it had to have come from him. The second was a gasp, which had to have meant that she was either really really close to finding him, or so far away that he had to laugh.

She was willing to bet that it was the former, and he was soooo close...

The cub circled around once more, studying the tiniest cracks and nooks for any clue as to where her sand-colored brother was hiding. And then she saw it: a tuft of hair that -almost- looked like grass, except that it had two chocolate brown stripes running down the sides. The same shade of chocolate as was her whole body!

"Found ya!" she giggled in triumph, grabbing a mouthful of his hair and gently tugging it.  

[Twiddle]

Kazi grinned at her as he let her pull him up by his hair. "Hehe, that was fun! Pretty good spot, eh, Zen-zen?" He said with a laugh.

He pulled himself up from the rocks, and for a moment he thought he would be stuck. His little cub hips were bigger than he expected, and he had trouble getting them past the rocks. But soon his strength prevailed and he was out; but covered from head to foot in dirt dust.

Although Kazi didn't really mind being dirty, at least not nearly as much as his sister, he certainly didn't like being this dirty! As the dust settled, Kazi took a breath in, and began to sneeze violently.

"Oh no, this dust is awful!" He managed to say between sneezes, rubbing his nose. He suddenly wanted a bath from his mother very, very badly.

She nodded, actually feeling a bit proud that he chose to copy her and go for a spot that could hide him well because of the coloring of his coat. Actually, she wasn't sure if that was the true reason, but she accepted it anyway.

And as soon as he wiggled free, the dust cloud engulfed both of them, and she sneezed repeatedly. Her eyes watered and she ran away from him, sneezing again and again.

"You need a bath! Let's go home to Mother, she'll clean you. Just don't get too close to me; I don't wanna be dirty! And I hate sneezing!" She sneezed one last time, now finally at a distance to breathe normally.  

[Twiddle]

Kazi laughed as she ran away from him, but he knew she was right. After another bout of sneezing, he rubbed his nose and eyes once more and started walking towards the den. He could see the dust falling off of him, and he wondered if he ran, if the dust would come off quicker.

"Hey, I'll race you!" He shouted to his sibling with a grin masked in dirt. "Last one there eats dust, literally!" He laughed out loud as he moved into a run, and he was right, the dust flew off of him in clouds, leaving a big trail behind him.
