I asked these guys to bake you a birthday cake. After the one with the rolling pin tried to break my kneecaps, I figured if you want birthday cake, you can go to New Jersey and pick it up yourself.

On a related note Ace of Cakes is an interesting show to watch on Food Network. They make all sorts of crazy cakes.


Tom Clancy got a cake from them in the shape of the Tower of London. Apparently he's the only American beefeater. (which is an official guard for said tower)

Cool.

I'm more a fan of Cake Boss. I've seen one too many episodes of Ace of Cakes and want to beat every employee of Charm City Cakes with a baseball bat.

Self absorbed twenty something punks. And half of the cakes they make are assembled with non-eatable materials. Every large animal they sculpt has a wood or metal framework inside. dramallama

All of the cakes I've seen have been partially edible at least. Even if there was a special frame there was at least part of it that could be eaten.
