Yes...the general melodramatic flatness didn't really improve the story (big guess why).

Well...it used a lot of flowery discriptives and that kind of thing, but if you really analyze it, the actual emotion that you get from it is...well, lacking.

I've not read it. Don't plan to, either. I mean, for all of the hype that it's getting from the majority of my 'community', I can already tell I won't like it much. The whole lot of them are mostly illiterate, disrespectful and opinionated nit wits for the most part, so you can see why such a thing is to my distaste.

But, on the (current) topic, from what I see so far, perhaps it's over exhausting these 'flowery descriptions' to the point where it's almost as bland as straight-from-the-strainer pasta, more or less?

Haha...wow, what a scathing opinion. I like it.

Yes, exactly, about the flowery descriptions. After a while, you're just sort of numbed to the effect that the descriptions should provide, because there's just too much. It's annoying.

Indeed. Though of course, I've not read it, just going on from what you've told me thus far. XP

Yes. I guess it's fine if you just need something to fill the time with, but otherwise...I wouldn't read it.

I read he's also a drunk. Besides I thought Bella was supposed to be plain. Why is the very beautiful Kristen Stewart Bella then?
