 The Sultana in question made her way steadily from the water's edge, gentle gaze flickering from form to form as she passed. So many new faces... it was a strange little thrill that set her heart into a joyous dance. She'd yet to hear of any excessive problems with the new girls, even noting a few new males to join the ranks.
But were all falling into their new lives with ease? She could still recall clear as day her first few days - weeks even, if she was to be fully honest - the sudden change from her old life. A main difference between her and these new girls however, was Aysel had come without a fight or regret. It had been her choice to join, to stand beside Aali. The question perked up in her mind yet again as her eyes refocused on the familiar land, head lifting as she recognized a large black and yellow form up a head. The three females with Aali, however, were nothing more than a mystery to her.
Where these... her new sisters? Her body lit with a curious, excited light, the silver lioness picked up her pace, paws sounding out soft thuds so as not to risk startling someone. "Sire," she greeted him from a few paces away, halting to take in the scene carefully. All three lionesses were larger than her, something she noted with interest. Their positions also rose a few questions in her head, with the mainly soft violet one beside the Sultan - the red and cream, and black keeping close together beneath the tree. All seemed relaxed, but she couldn't help but wonder how long it had been so.
A warm smile came to her as she bowed her head in gentle greeting to the girls. "Ladies. I apologize for not coming to meet you sooner, I am Aysel." She drew closer to Aali, though keeping herself in a position to face all three newcomers. "I hope you don't think it too bold of me to say, but if there is anything you are curious about, please do not hesitate to seek me out at any time. Coming to the pride for the first time can be... overwhelming, but I want to help you find a home here." She chuckled, glancing at the lion before looking back to the others with a renewed grin. She couldn't help it, it was so exciting to have new sisters in the harem at last!

-The group grew and grew until.. atleast to her deduction from the words of the sultan.. they were all there. A strange little 'family' of varying shades and types.
Turning her attention from the new arrival just long enough to respond to Aali, she nodded gently to his request.- "Sultan Aali it is."
-She wondered if like Taja they'd have to ask before speaking.. but it was something she could ask the girls later, for such questions seemed rather... intimidating with the male standing so near. Perhaps she just disliked looking like such a child.. being reprimanded. Whatever the reason, she felt no need or want to try and cause another outburst or draw forth any anger from him.
Eyes shifting to the grey female, she smiled barely as she introduced them, not quite ready to be met with such enthusiasm.- "Hello Aysel. I am Neema, and this is Vikasini."
-Vika had smiled gently to Taja as she found that bit of similarity between the group. But her eyes had shifted back as Aali's spoke, trying to take note of all the strange words that were sounding, filing them away in her mind. They were important, she knew that, and soon enough she was sure they'd all make sense.
Unlike Neema however, Vika fed off of the Sultana's pleasant energy, finding her smile start to grow a little as the pleasant tone touched her ears. And softly she mused, both to Neema and herself, though the words were loud enough for all to hear.- "I think we will all be good friends."

To see the others seeming a bit more comfortable helped Taja to also feel more at ease. She observed, happily, as the three began to acquaint themselves, then she finally showed up. Aysel, the lead female of Aali's harem, and soon to be their new pride sister if all went well, just as the three females gathered with Aali now were already pride sisters. For a moment Taja was unsure what to do, think, or say. She had worried that the gray female might look at the three of them with jealousy or perhaps perceived threat, still unsure of how she would feel to finally be sharing her mate. Taja was still unsure if she would have been able to handle being told that any mate of hers wanted to take on a second or third mate. At least coming into it knowing already you'd be one of several females was a little easier in the transition.
Neema, Vikasini, and Aysel, her new "sisters"...
"Hello," She also greeted softly. "I'm Tetesi-tajamala, but if you'd like, just Taja would do..."
Since that had been the nickname that Aali had picked. It wouldn't do to have confusion about by having more than one variation of her already large name.

"Aysel!" Aali smiled and stood to nudge her closer to the group happily, it was clear by his gentle touch and the joy dancing in his eyes that he loved his Sultana very much. He was glad when the ladies all made their introductions and sat himself back down beside Aysel and Taja. They all seemed friendly enough, Neema and Vika didn't appear hostile towards Aysel and neither did Taja, a good sign.
"I should let you lovely ladies get better acquainted..." He chuckled and stood giving Aysel a soft lick and nuzzle before moving to give Taja a tender nudge. He moved closer to Vika and smiled. "Come to the den tonight? I'll tell you that story..." He gave her a small nudge and tipped his head towards Neema not wanting to push her, she seemed the least pleased with her situation, not that he could blame her.

An ear twitched, smile remaining though her brow rose faintly. Ah... so perhaps such childish show of joy wasn't as appreciated as she would have hoped? Watching the black female - Neema, rather - she winced inwardly. Not all accepted things so easily, she knew that of course... silly Aysel, too much too fast wasn't a way to make sure they got off on the right paw. Her energy cooled slightly, head bowing towards the other in a calmer greeting. "An honor then, Neema. Vikasini," she added, turning the warm expression on the dark one's companion.
She'd expected to be met with a similar show of withdraw, but instead... found the opposite? Not a grinning, prancing sort, but... was it easier for this other to slip into the new life? She could only begin to fathom the thoughts behind the smile, but the cheerful sight made some of her previous enthusiasm return despite herself. Not to say she held ill-will towards Neema... but she'd be lying if she said the smile wasn't a relief.
The last for her gaze to fall upon perked her brow as well. Hesitant? Shy? But trying. A gentle chuckle escaped her as she nodded to her as well. "Taja then - what an interesting name though." So... long! Beautiful... though she had to wonder how much of a tongue twister that would be to say for the first few times.
During her greeting of the purple lioness, Aali had nudged her closer to the circle without a hitch or pause from Aysel. Reseated, her tail curled around her front paws, gaze flickering steadily between the three new faces. Her study of the others paused when he'd given her the affectionate farewell, her own nose pressing against his cheek in return. To see him move on to do similar things to the others... she felt herself puff a bit in a happy pride. A family - simple, and pure and... right.
But something he said made her frown, head cocked to the side. "'Story'? What story..?"

-As Aali moved away from the group Vikasini took a step closer to the girls circled about them, finding herself less in need of the comfort of her ebony friend. She truely believed the statement she'd made before.. and now.. she felt almost a tug to try and indeed make friends with the ladies she'd be living with.-
"You can call me Vika if you prefer as well." -She offered softly, looking from Taja to Aysel.-
-Neema's posture settled softly as she watched Vika move forward, doing as she always did, sweet innocent child that she was.. The corners of her maw moved up softly, feeling a soft sense of relief touch her. Her task was done... even if it had had help. Vika no longer was upset and.. she even seemed to be on the way to enjoying herself. As long as she was happy.. well.. then Neema was on the way to being happy as well.
She felt a minute twinge of sadness as she watched the girls before her and thought of Miki. Would they ever see their old friend again? But then... perhaps things had worked out the best they could. Miki was so strong.. surely she'd be okay alone. Better alone than Vika or her would ever do.
Attention turning back to the group softly, she listened and watched gently, feeling the familar lull of home settling upon her. Perhaps it'd been the lack of fathers... the large amount of woman looking over the children. Perhaps it'd just been her time spent almost constantly with her two best friends? But something about the group of females just felt right.-
((*nibbles everyone* We can fade with a few last posts if you guys like OR keep going. I'm cool with either. :3 ))
