Kokiou Raced around the village to those who had wounds carring her son in one of her arms, "please stay calm ma'am" she said to one of her patients as she healed her wound. "whats gotten you all scared? this village is safe no one can find it." as she continued to try and heal the old woman who wouldnt stopped moving she continued to complain. "you heard that dragon didnt you??? i know you heard it!! theyre coming to kill us i know!!" kokiou sighed, "that was REALLY far away ma'am its not anywhere near us..." kokious encouragemeant didnt seem to help the old lady at all she continued to move and skirm and preech their distruction. "old hag..." she muttered under her breath.

Phoenix listened to everything Sortai said. SHe lookeddown at the two-legger she knew. One of the only two-leggers she would actually call a friend. "What about our other friends?" she asked. "And what of this Idarkoth you speak of? Where is he? I wish to speak to him, if that's possible."

Mathias stood there, utterly stupefied by what had just occurred. "So that thing is an ally? I've never seen it before..." He turned and made his way to Sortai's tent. "Sir? What is going on?"

Sortai looked to Mathias. A half smile adorned his face. "Mathias, this is the Queen of Dragons, Phoenix." As he stood he headed for Idarkoth.

Phoenix growled. "What your tonge little two-legger," she warned. "I'm older than your entire family." She growled again and followed Sortai.

Mathias blinked in confusion, "Did I say something wrong...?" Mathias walked around the "barracks," looking for anything that may require his attention. Nothing. He laid down on a cot, thinking about taking a nap. Just when he was about to fall asleep, he felt someone shaking his arm. He looked up and saw a soldier handing him a piece of paper. The soldier told him that a messenger arrived this morning and the letter was for him. Mathias sat up and read the letter.

Mathias,

Tell Sortai if he wants to meet with me, I'll be where we last saw each other. It's only for tomorrow night, though.

When he finished, he quickly got up and went in search of Sortai.

Sortai would be near the grain hold, Idarkoth conversating with he and Phoenix.
"Sergeant Mathias seeks you." The dragon said boredly. Sortai rolled his eyes at his desperation to make Sortai leave. Sortai turned and greeted Mathias outside the edge of the barracks. "You seeked me?" He said.

Mathias looked at Sortai with an annoyed look, "How did you...Never mind, here." Mathias handed over the letter to Sortai. "I didn't know you two were acquainted. Will you be going to meet with him? If so, I'll prepare a group of soldiers to escort you."

Lamkit jumped onto meesha's shoulder, "FOOD WONDEROUS BEAUTIFULL FOOD!!!!!!!!!!" meesha ignored lamkit while he mocked purring and nuded his head agenst her chin, "Varian, help me, take off the hide, and the antlers, they're sacred you know." Meesha looked at regius who was comming over to help, "no regius, Evreything you touch rots."

Sortai read the letter once, then folded and pocketed it.us "No. I go alone." He said, motioning for a soldier nearby. "Load Idarkoth for a weeks journey and prepare my weapons and armor." He looked to Mathias again as the soldier left. "Think you can handle being in charge of our little militia for a week?" He said, his eyes gleaming. Keyeu was a day away by dragon flight, so he'd be there in time to meet Teka at night then rendevous with the new Elf queen outside Jiyea. There his plans were to have the different sections of Sunahrs army meet up, along with the elves, and attempt to capture Hælwráth, Cthulu's capitol city.

Captain Brigham's foot guard finished loading the shadow dragon, bowed, and left the grain hold. When Brigham's guard left, Brigham himself came to the tent of Mathias. With the customary salute he said, "Sir, I lead the horsemen's cavalry, and ask but one favor."

Cthulhu shifted his gaze from the water to Seth. "Seth, prepare an ambush for your brother and Teka Runite outside Keyeu." Seth nodded, bowed, and left. The Demon King gripped his blade and smiled. "I will kill you with my own hands Sortai Dràcost'înd. Your blood will irrigate K'eychei at last, your vitae will run like water."

Phoenix growled slightly. "If you think I will let you go alone, you are far less sane than you were when we first met," she said. "How do you know this is not some sort of trap?No. I will go with you and it would be futile to argue." She turned her head and egan speaking with Idarkoth in the language of Dragon's about the war and their people.

Mathias gave a salute, "While I don't think I'm the best man for the job I'll be sure that you won't not be disappointed." He turned to Brigham, "What would that favor be?"

Varian pulled the last antler off the deer. "We can make a decent bone sword out of these antlers..." he said. He suddenly heard several low growls and footsteps from nearby. "Damn!"
Regius looked at Meesha and Varian. "Demon Flehhounds and several gaurds," he said drawing his sword. "For old times?" he smiled, the glow in his eyes became suddenly more vicious looking.
Varian took out his daggers, holding them in the assasin style. "Ready Meesha?"

Brigham grew quieter."If I should die in combat, seek out my body... for my wife..."

Sortai knew the pointlessness of arguing lest he lose an appendage to Phoenix. He climbed atop Idarkoth, looking over the camp, then gestured for Phoenix to follow them as they lifted off.

Sunahr closed his eyes at the news. "You are sure?" He said, his rock arm crushing the chair arm." The soldier nodded."Definitely, sir. We recovered as much as we could, but it wasn't much." Sunahr cursed. "Ahh... Send for Joze, I need Jose
