I heard them at Warped (from far away, couldn't hear well and wasn't intrested) and about a week later I saw Sugar, and fell in love. Then I got the FUCT, heard the rest of the songs and fell into obsession. Sugar We're Going Down is a crappy song compared to the rest of the songs on FUCT.

The first time I got into fall out boy, I was flicking through the music channels and I heard Grand Theft Autumn. I remembered the title of the song, name of band, and that the guy in the video was hot. I mentioned them to my friends and they just passed them off, after flicking through the channels some more, I couldn't find any more of their stuff. Then about 3 months later my friends were in Fall Out Boy and were able to send me some more of their songs..and now here I am biggrin

I was listening to the radio and they have this thing on where they play new music. They played "Sugar We're Goin' Down" and I instantly fell in love with it <33 Then, each week, I would listen to the new music thing so that I could hear Sugar. After I listened to the sampler on their website a few times I bought FUCT. Then, I liked FUCT so much that I got TTTYG. I really started to get into the band and really love them now. And that pretty much sums it up.

easy. lik pretty much everyone else, from swgd. i heard it once on the radio, herd my freinds singin it, and i asked about the band. i got the cd, and instantly became obsessed. then, i went to their website, looked @ the pics, saw pete... and turned bi... ppl do crazy things wen their in love.

I was watching TV, and S,WGD came on. I was thinking, "this video is rad. These guys are awesome. Finally, a mainstream band that isn't pretending to be 'punk'." And I watched it more. And I was intrigued by it. The lyrics were very complex, and the video was really random, yet it all made sense to me. And then... Pete licked his hand twice and did the salute. I was like, "holy ********." And that's how I came to love FOB. <3.

Ummmm, not to offend you or anything, but if you turned bi just because of Pete, it's not considered bi, unless it caused you to start liking guys in general. If you only like a star, it's called fandom, so I know where you're coming from in a way. xp

Uhm.
As for me.
When I saw Grand Theft Autumn on TV, I immeadiately thought it was catchyyy.
I got the record and all because I got really into the lyrics...and the music as well. But I wasn't all up in the band info and...their names and stuff.
That's kind of changed now, only because I've met an amazing person who lives for FOB. And they teach me like, everything about them.

It was kind of strange, really, how I ran into them. The summer that just passed one of my friends Brittnae came and visited from Cali. We were surfin' the net, and she said, 'Ooh! Hold on, you gotta hear this. You'll love it.'
I said okay, and she went to Launch and turned on SWGD. I didn't really think much of it then at all[I was a country-weirdo then]. But then, when Summer was over and we were starting school, I was listening to Launch again and I heard the song again. I was all like, 'O_O'. So that's how it started. I listened to DD and SWGD over and over on Launch, and then I finally convinced my friend Gretchen to copy FUCT for me. xDDD And I just got TTYG for Christmas, so ya! <33333333333333

My dad's really close friends daughter was listening to them, and actually, I wasn't even into her kind of music untill I met her. She got me into a whole nother genre.

Well I heard SWGD on the Buzz, a local alternative station. They started playing it waaaaaaaay before the mainstream stations did. Anyways. So I went and downloaded it. Then my friend megan started talking to me about how great they were so I downloaded a bunch more songs. I truly fell in love then and well I've been learning ever since...

I first heard them when my cousin gave me the Take This to Your Grave CD and at first I hated them but I started listening and now I am hooked...lol. Yeah I now heart them.
