Marcus Daniels was walking down the street, cigarette hanging from lip and music pulsating in his headphones. It was a loud, angry pulsating beat with a heavy drumbeat, and could be heard distinctly from several feet away. Marcus hopped his way down the stairs in the back of the Davis house that led to the basement, the hang-out for their little group. Marcus opened the door without knocking, knowing that if the little Bookworm that resided here was doing something truly intimate and embarrassing, he wouldn't do it in the basement. Marcus stepped his way around the cold, grey basement to his favorite seat, the La-Z-Boy chair. There were several seats, including Marcus' seat, an old couch, and a few lawn chairs. Marcus took his seat, looking around. Hm, first person to arrive. Marcus pulled out the small stash in his heavy coat pocket, opening the bag. He sniffed it, relishing the odorous stink. Marcus stowed the bag back in his jacket, looking towards the stairs that led to the rest of the Davis house.
"Yo, Bookworm! Where you at?"

Kiki awoke to a sudden shout coming from below; the basement. She had once again passed out on Bookworm's bed after another lovely afternoon of nothingness. She spent most of her time in this house, there was no room she had not been in no cabinet or closet left un-scoured. She yawned and stretched her arms over her head walking slowly out of Her bud's bedroom down the hallway twords the stairs that led down to the basement. She snagged a cold juice box out of the fridge on her way then bolted down the carpeted steps.

"Hey Jack."
She said. Her short dark hair was messy and tussled, her skin still flushed from sleep. The young woman's eye make up was slightly smudged below her eyes. With practiced aim she plopped down on the couch longways and bit worked on poking her little plastic bendy straw into her little orange juice box. Once she had it she took a long sip and sighed leaning her head back on the armrest. It was sweet and acidic her favorite flavor, orange tangerine Book's mom bought them just for her.

"Did ja bring me a gift?"
She joked and tilted her head to see the boy's face. He was one of the most interesting people that Keek have the great pleasure to know. But she loved all her her buddy's. Every single one of them.

Marcus turned to see Kiki walking down the stairs, makeup slightly smudged and all around just looked like she just got out of bed. Marcus smirked. Ah, so many openings.
"Hey Keek. Didja help the Bookworm finally lose his virginity?"
Marcus reached in his pocket, pulling out the bag full of dark green herb. He tossed it to her, reaching into another pocket and pulling out a beautiful and all-around psychedelic glass pipe. He tossed that to her as well, smirk still there.
"Happy Hanukkah. Toke up."

The darkened sky let off a small circle of lights towards the target that she would soon be shooting. One simple squeeze of the trigger, and down he would fall. It wouldn't take a second look or thought. Then she squeezed the trigger.

A sudden noise interupted the scene. Looking up at the noise that had caused it, Reed Davis saw that the culprit was the small puppy that he had gotten last week, Cortana.
"Cortana, you interupted my book. Now I won't know if she really shot him or not." Placing his copy of An Eye for an Eye down on the table, he picked up the small puppy that was now whimpering in front of him.

Hearing voices come from below, he smighed, a smile on his face. It seems that his reading was going to be inturupted for more than just the moment. Standing, puppy still in tow, He moved swiftly towards the stairs leading to the basement and down them.
"I see you have made yourself at home Jack. And I heard that comment, d**k." Releasing the squirming puppy, Reed piked up Kiki's legs and sat under them, letting them fall back into place.

Kiki chuckled and shook her head twice before looking back up at her friend.

"Like he would let me. No... Not yet." She joked and caught the items. A large grin erupted on her easily smiling face. She sat up a little bit and cracked open the plastic bag of fun organic clippings. Carful she filled the pretty glass pipe then lit it before taking a big breath of smoky air. She let out the smoke slowly and coughed.

"I love you Jack." She cooed and grinned over at him. Carefully she resealed the baggy and tossed it at him. She leaned back down against the armrest of the heavily worn couch. Book moved her legs and she smiled over at him.

“You Know I love you Reed sweetie.” She took another puff of the pipe and sat up scooting over to sit on his lap. She breathed out before putting her arms around him and holding him close. He really was her very own. Carefully she took his hand in hers and handed him the glass pipe. Ether to hold it without burning something or to share, it wasn’t exactly clear.

[[Tuba, your font needs to be size 10.]
Marcus moved his head upwards, finally seeing the Bookworm. He just smirked, holding his hands up in celebration of the geek's arrival.
"Reed! Stop bitching and start socializing. You need it if you ever decide to grow up and get a life."
Marcus leaned forward to the small table that the various seats surrounded to grab the remote for the old decrepit television that sat before them. Marcus clicked in on to life, seeing it on some crappy sci-fi B-movie. No, it couldn't even qualify as a B-movie. More like Z-movie. Marcus lifted an eyebrow to Reed before shaking his head. He began channel flipping, bored. He caught the baggie and stowed it in his pocket, watching the two out of the corner of his eye. He wanted to see if Reed would take a hit.

[[sorry, fixed the size here.]]
Reed smirked at the two of them. He knew what they expected when Keek had handed him the glass tube. They both wanted him to take a hit. It was a hobby that he didn't really share with his friends. And one he wasn't sure he wanted to share with them. Looking at the both of them he sighed. Lifting the smoking tube to his lips, he inhaled. After releasing the smoke from his lungs, he coughed a little before speaking. "Happy?"

Reed was, actually. It seemed that their hobby wasn't all that bad. Remembering that Keek was still wrapped around him, he smiled a bit. "I love you too, Kiki." Reed then let out a small laugh and leaned into the couch.

Marcus raised his hand in victory as Reed took the hit. He then gave him a thumbs up with his famous sarcastic smile.
"Yeah! Way to succumb to peer pressure!"
Marcus laughed lightly not really meaning the sarcasm. He didn't care what he did, so long as it didn't ruin his time. Marcus reached over and grabbed the pipe, toking up himself. He held in the smoke for a nice long while before breathing out, the smoke officially disappearing. Marcus nearly coughed, but held back. If he took another hit, he'd end up hacking and coughing.

Kiki clapped and rubbed his chest softly. She was proud that he was trying new things and without anyone even forcing him to. Reed was not one to join in on their weed fun and he always seemed like he looked down on it. Her head rested on his shoulder and her left hand was pressed against his soft shirt. She felt mellow and happy here with her friends in her favorite place. Slowly she lifted her head and looked at Reed's face.

"I like the way you cut your beard." She admired and ran her fringes over the line of facial hair framing his jaw. She looked over at Jack and laughed. He was the opposite of Reed but she loved both of them, and at this moment in time that seemed like the most hysterical thing she's ever thought.

Reed felt the soft fingertips of his friend stroke his jaw. He always had his beard shaped the same way, every time she crashed in his bed. Then at the sound her laughter, he grew confused. "Care to share the joke?" It wasn't much of a surprise that she had laughed. She always seemed to have a joke in her mind. Sighing, he looked around to see if he had left some book downstairs.

"You, and Jack... I love you guys...."
She looked over at Jack and nodded trying to get conformation that he understood. Even though she hadn't really explained it. But she didn't care that much. If he didn't understand that was okay with her, it was all okay with her.

"But you're like... twilight zone opposites."
She chuckled and rubbed her eyes. Slowly she turned her head to look at Reed. He seemed to be on the look out for something. and she had an idea of what it was. But if he wanted to go anti-social on her now he was out of luck.

"Bookworm...." She looked though his glasses into his eyes and didn't blink, not once. Then she collapsed against his chest in a fir of endless giggles. His shirt smelled like deodorant and laundry detergent. Two of her favorite smells.

Alexia awoke in her room, sighing as she saw her door left open. Her parents had left. She quickly exited the room and headed toward the kitchen, grabbing a carton of 2% milk before opening it and slowly drinking. After she finished, she threw it into the garbage and ran upstairs once more.

She changed out of her pajamas and headed out the door. Grabbing her keys along the way, she inserted the key into the lock and turned it. She tugged on the handle hard for a second before running off down the streets. Alex continued to run, loving the feeling off the wind blowing against her before she arrived at Reed's house. She pondered on whether or not to go. Maybe the rest of them were there. Whatever it was that they were doing, she decided it was better then just being alone. Alex felt like she was intruding but went through the back door, instantly noticing the group.

" Heya peoples! " she said, flashing a wide grin. She plopped down on an empty seat and sighed, feeling tired for some reason. She noticed the weed and tried to ignore it, not really wanting to engage in something that could prevent her from playing sports.

Reed looked down at the mass hyseria of a girl that was on his chest at the moment. Her random giggling was enough to get his to start. At the thought of him and Jack being twilight zone opposites was kinda funny. Chuckling himself, he had a comment. "Hear that Jack? Me and you are Polar opposites." When she had called his nickname, his attention was drawn again. "Yes Keek?"

When and extra voice had entered the room, Reed looked over at the newcomer. "Hey there Alexia. Make yourself at home."

Marcus sat quietly, watching the others, when Alexia came right on bursting in. Marcus jumped a bit, albeit delayed, then grinned. He raised his hands again, grinning.
"Alex! Lex! My favorite lesbian! How was whatever practice?"
It was a frequent joke of Marcus' that Alex was a bulldyke. Then again, he had jokes for everyone in the group. Well, for everyone. It's just that his 'jokes' for everyone in-group was meant with no offense, while for everyone else there was always offense meant. Marcus could be complex.
