But if, my cosplay partner request me to use Musical version (B), I confused how to create those eyebrow effect without cutting my real eyebrow.

And any tips to make my white powder stay long in my face? Thx

@fem-inja and fantasy: I would sugest Kryolan, it's bodypaint (acuacolor) is good quality and if you use the fixer they also provide, it will hold all day, if not, it will start rubbing off when you sweat

@angelswings: for this you can also use Kryolans acuacolor, or get some liquid water colors (yes, the ones painters use) I find these give a more liquid feel, less like its part of your skin, but they are harder to get off; so it's your pick. you can use a white eyeliner to line the shape that you want, then place the color and finish with marking the edges. other than that PRACTICE! after a while, you get the hang of it. I also drew a dragon, though it started at the hollow of my throat(sp?), twisted once around my neck, and finished in my cheek. doing it alone is harder, but not impossible

I need some ideas on what to use to make a convincing burn-mark scar.

I'm trying to do Mello from Death Note. I could of course go without the scar, but the scar just makes him look cooler >> ((it'd also be nice to stand out from other mello cosplayers who don't have the scar...))

Alright I know exactly what to do for this. This method may seem complex but trust me when I say that it will look amazing! Before doing this, you will want to put the rest of your make up on.

Ok so things you'll need:
Spirit Gum or Corn Syrup
Cotton balls
three paint brushes(two big one small)
make up sponge wedges
flesh toned(in this case a light pink for the scar) face paint. I've noticed that stage make up works the best for this.

Step 1:
Start at the forehead and apply a thin layer of spirit gum with one of the big brushes and then follow that with small fragments of ripped cotton ball. Use your fingers to dap on the bits, you want to spread them out, giving youself a thin layer of white over the spirit gum. Careful because this is very sticky and you want to try and make sure the cotton doesn't clump together. It's ok if it does a little but be cautious of it. Let this layer dry as you continue on down your face. Make sure to keep this away from your eyes! You can get close but not too close.

Step 2:
So now that you've given yourself a thin layer of cotton where you want it and it's dry, repeat step 1 over the first layer. Instead of applying these cotton balls with your fingers, use the other brush. Doing this will give you a nice dead skin texture(I don't really know what's nice about that but we'll go with it). Try not to put TOO much cotton on because if you do, you may end up with a heavy lump on the side of your face. Again, let this additional layer dry before going on.

Step 3:
It is very important to make sure the cotton and spirit gum is dry! If it's not, you could smear to spirit gum-cotton mix and ruin the caked on scar. This step involves the face paint, in this case your light pink color. Take the make up sponge and coat it with your paint then carefully stroke/dab the cotton with the sponge. Make sure not to rip anything off! Once you get the scar covered you can take the small brush and fill in the fine details that you couldn't reach with the sponge. After the main part of the scar is covered, go back with the sponge and blend in the paint with your natural skin.

Step 4:
Since you had to go around your eye for the scar, take the paint you used for the scar and touch up your eye.

Personally I think this looks better than painting a side of your face red ro something like most people do. This will give you the look of a REAL burn when done right. If you think this may be a little hard, practice it. Then if you still have trouble I could try to make a tutorial for you.

Before applying, you want to use a moisturizer then a primer to set everything in place. Have a good primer is key! Also, carry with you some powder for touch ups if need be.

For your eyebrows you'll want to get face paint(stage make up) and actually paint over your brows. For the best results, your brows must be in good shape. By this I mean trimmed or plucked. The paint with cover better and the hairs shouldn't stick up if they're plucked. If you're using white face powder, get white face paint for you brows and then draw over that with the black/brown eye pencil where you want the brows to be.

For your face, if you're going to do white, you should...
-Moisterize
-Then use primer
-Paint entire face with white paint(spread paint EVENLY)
-Cover paint with white powder
-Then draw on eyebrows

Overall, this should work. smile

You can also just use very light foundation and powder that you can find at any Walmart. Corn starch is also good as well (I often use it in photo shoots because I am to pale for words.)
Also for eyebrows you can take regular Elmurs liquid WASHABLE glue and paint it over your eyebrow. You wait for it to dry (it might take a few coats and you can speed up the drying process by putting a hair dryer to them. :'D) You can then take any paint or foundation or whatever you choose and go right over it. :'3
Anyhoo.
Hope that helped/ made sense. :'D

any ideas on how i can crossplay and not epically fail at it? Dx
I obviously don't look like a guy

@XDZenLeeDX: Liquid latex is your best bet. You can order it offline or if there is a store around like Halloween Outlet, they will most likely have it and be able to tell you exactly how to use it.

@gabbyv23: Only thing I can recommend is a compression shirt. Nothing can really be done about hips aside from wearing layers or clothes that slightly bigger than needed but that only works to an extent. I could probably help a bit more if I knew who you are planning on crossplaying as.

"I will corupt thy king."
"How can thee corupt one already corupted?"
"Like I corupted thy Guardian Angel."

If your old enough (18+) You can go into a porn/sex store and get flesh color latex. A large bottle is roughly $5-$10 depending on brand. Smaller bottles range from $2.89-$5 depending on brand

"The Angel that rules the Heavenly beings?"
"Yes, he who rules them, I who defeted him."
"That...is imposible!"

No problem. :] If you need pointers with putting it on, I can get some from my friend who's going into special effects make up.

If you're interested in doll-eye contacts or circle contacts I actually found a really great thread here on Gaia that has tons of links to different sites and lots of pictures showing how the contacts actually look.
