However, the Card Captor Sakura:Master of the Clow manga shows that CCS has a happy ending! Syaoran and Sakura finally realise that they love each other, and manage to get it arranged that Syaoran doesn't have to go back to Hong Kong permamently, so they meet again.
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle features alternate universe version of Sakura and Syaoran. They're a little bit different, but recognisable still as versions of the same characters, albeit living in the land of Clow. (Yep, the country itself is called Clow, heh.)
That aside, I really enjoyed Cardcaptors when I was younger. I even still know the theme tune. I didn't know the crazy changes they made, obviously, but I was young enough not to care even if I had known.
My friend brought over a dvd of some of the episodes recently, so myself, her, my best friend and two male friends watched it. It was especially funny since one of them said never to subject him to a magical girl shoujo anime ever again, hahaha. The other just kind of watched it and thought Touya was awesome. (C'mon, he pulls apart a whirlpool with his bare hands. )

This is one of the first anime that i watched completely, and I was satisfied with it. Good thing Syaoran and Sakura got together in the end. 3nodding
